Your expansion of consciousness as you have described , is like mxing sugar into a cup of tea , blending in with what that is around you and being one with it . It becoming you , you becoming it .

It is tough at first , to live as it is and also to work , but if time is well planned and things are done as it is , you would slowly get used to it and experience that oneness .

I took a couple moments and did that too yesterday. Musta been a good day for it. ( I don't recommend doing while driving though unless you are a good one at multilevel tasking LOL)

I started to post my experiences yesterday, but the morning got away from me, and well, last night I just didn't wanna, lol.

I was driving back home after dropping oldest off at work. I just kinda decided to let all my filters down and just Be for a spell.

One thing I noticed is that while it was awesome to reconnect, things were mucky, and painful. For one thing I was driving thru an industial area. I know Savage knows where I'm talking about, by where ya get your coal from Savage. It is also an area where a company dredges the river bottom for sand, and the river in this area is polluted to the point you cannot eat the fish. Also just across the way is the county dump, along with the old one is a new one they have just dug out and have almost filled. It all felt so painful. I could almost feel tears welling up in my eyes from the pain. It was also an overcast morning, which added to the dreariness of it all.

One good point in all of it, was there was this one cloud. It shone bright white, pure and almost to the point of glowing. Seemed to be pointing out that even the darkest, gloomiest of clouds had a light within.

Next time I do that, I think I'll be in a cleaner, happier area, cause after that, I felt like I needed a shower, inside and out.

I was so glad yesterday that the temperature was in the 40s that I went for a walk too! I had taken a friend to the train station and decided to walk back to campus the long way, through the woods. It was wonderful to feel connected to nature and be away from the hustle and bustle of campus life, work, etc. I actually stopped along the way and said a prayer to Divinity; the moment was just so perfect. I stopped again later that night when I came back from my night class because the moon was just so beautiful and I felt so drawn to it. I slept better than night then I had in about three weeks.

Its wonderful to be able to walk in silence and let the rest of the world talk to you. We spend so much of our lives making ourselves heard and understood to others that we don't stop and reverse the roles. To be able to just listen and attune to the natural world around you, to commune with Divinity without speaking a word is just so wonderful and peaceful. Days like yesterday make it so much easier to get by in a world that never slows down for you!

Wasn't rying to change the tone of the post, sorry guys. I get caught up in the walk and forget how it is coming out.

It is sad though that this is how so many are experiencing life, wrapped up in the gunk they live in, evenif they are unaware.

It is awesome when we can get back in tune with life, and the univesre, and walk even for just a few moments in connection, tru and complete.

Yesterday I took time to find a house here in town, Sauer castle, that was built way back in the day, by a hubby for his wife. Willhae to find the link to it and post it. One of the hauted places here i town, but also one full of love from days gone by, as well as grief over being left in ruin. It's an awesome little place. Complete with stone lions flanking the doorway. You canmos def feel it's energies, a mix of them.

I think things like this are what we all need to do more often, just let down your guards, and tune into the web, and your strand in it, and how it interconnects with all others.

Sure we may tune into the goop of where we live, but if you move thru it, you will find the beauty that is hiding in the muckagunk.

I liken it to a geode. You see an ugly, dirty rock, but when you get into the core of it, there is a glorious thing to behold, hidden within the ugliness of the outter stone. (don't take it personal stone people! LOL Even the ugliest of stones are beautiful in their own right!)

After many years and many trials. It is still the small things that make life worthwhile. The chance to stop, breathe, and expand and absorb.
This world has so many negative things we are bombarded by, tv, radio, etc. Simple is still better.
Thank you Freedom

Wish I could see that wonderful place.

Reading these posts is reminding of one of the reasons I moved to Virginia. My last apartment was outside downtown a metropolis area in Southern California. I had one window where the only view was the cement of the neighboring building. I couldn't even see the sky to see what the weather was like. Then last summer I came with my boyfriend to visit his parents here in Virginia. While visiting, I woke up one morning and opened the window and all I could see were lush green trees all around and it was so silent except for the birds singing. At that moment I just started crying and I never wanted to go back to my shoebox apartment covered in graffiti. So now here I am, and I love my drive home from work everyday passing the Appomattox River and watching the birds flying overhead while the sun sets. I just love it.

I am fortunate to live near several easily accessible woodlands. some of thse are on public land. Others are on private property on which I have permission to trespass. My job requires that I deal with people, which isn't exactly my strongest point. It is a spiritual, emotional, and sometimes even physical need to wander alone in the woods. This is the only way I can relax properly sometimes and recover my sanity and identity by partaking of the natural energies from which we all sprang. Some call this process grounding. I think of it as decompression--escaping the pressures and negative energy that press upon us daily and that we so quaintly identify as life. I think of the proverb Never less alone than when alone.

Blessings.

Ask and ye might just receive, lol. It's not really a 'castle' just what they call it. It makes alot of the 'haunted sites'. It does have a few occupants, lol.

I tok a few moments this morning to do some connecting. Sitting on my front porch, between the two yew trees that flank my stairs into the house. My sentinals, lol. they are awesome. My MIL had a thing for having yew trees guarding her stairway into the house. Went out to say bye to hubby as he left for work at 5:30 this morning, and my owl friends were out and about, ROFLMAO souding like monkeys in a rainforest. Decided to go put on my slippers and house coat and grab my cuppa and have a sit.

Will continue the saga in the cuppa thread, lol.

Blessings and connections to All!

Sounds like a wonderfully renewing walk,

And I know what you mean about that feeling around massively overpowering industry.

That castle is great, love the beware of dogs sigh..

I miss my daily walks in the woods.. I have woods in back of my house I used to walk in ever morning with my dog, ya know following the deer trails running free stuff knowing no one was around. But now the two Nabors in back of me (one house is father other is son) have built a big brick path to each others houses and taken out a bunch of trees to expand there yards.. Now I cant really get to the woods farther back with out trekking on there yards.

Its just not the same to go to hiking paths for me, I liked the fact that I know the woods in back and can wonder for hours and still know where I was by some crater or rock pile or tree stump..

O well… That’s progress for ya isn’t it….

There really is no way around there are houses bordering the woods on my side..

I should just go and ask Tony, I went to school with him, if he cares, but I am still a bit pissy about the trees, there was a hawk nest in one they tore down.. I guess I have to swallow it and just do it..
