As it was pointed out to me, I was a little to over eager and forgot to introduce myself. For the sake of anonymity you can call me Snow Wolf or Snow, I am from Louisville Kentucky where I am working on my bachelors’ degree in Information Security Systems. After that degree, I hope to get some sort of Herbalist degree. To be honest I’m not sure what else to say so I’m open to answering all the questions you would like to ask. ^^ can’t wait to meet everyone.

Hello Snow Wolf! A degree in Information Security Systems and an Herbalist degree? Interesting combination. Any idea where you want to head on the career track? (I'm always interested in these kinds of things, so pardon my being nosy  )

Well I want to be a network administrator or on the network security staff. I want the bachelors’ degree in herbalism because I already make herbal remedies and products and I thought it would be a good idea to learn more and have some sort of official certification. Also at one point after I get a job I think I will go back for my MBA with a focus in IT Management so I can be an entry level manager.

Wonderful! Good luck to you with all your pursuits!

Hi Snow Wolf!

I love your wolf avatar picture. It's SO beautiful. I like herbalism too, and am also in the IT career field.

I sort of introduced myself when I first joined, but not very well. After reading a lot of the more recent posts I feel maybe I should (blush) I'm larc, actually shortened from larcfall. I grew up in sunny So. California but recently moved to outer Richmond, VA. I'm half Filipino and half Caucasian (mostly English). But I grew up in an entirely Filipino community. My grandma and mom raised us with "old country" traditions that have I think helped formulate who I am today. I always liked the work "pagan" and have never felt it was a bad or derogatory term (I remember reading something about it in another recent thread, something about Godless Heathens). I majored in cultural and biological anthropology in college, so I have a deep interest and respect in all cultures and religions. I lurk quite a bit in the message boards but don't always post cuz I'm shy (blush)

Anyway, I love this site and the people are great. I think you'll like it too Snow Wolf. welcome

Ha Ha.. Snow Wolf.. it seems we already have something in common!! Other than both being members on this site.. that is..

I also was over eager and didn't introduce myself before I started posting.. OOPS! I plan to remedy that very soon.... just checking out how everybody else did it first.. Is that cheating? I hope not.. lol

I am fascinated by all the things you are learning. I have always wished that I could have the opportunity to go to college. I had kids and got married way to young, and didn't continue on with my education like I wanted to. I do plan to go back to school once I get my kids grown.

So reading all the degrees you are working for just fires me up for things I hope to do someday too.

It's nice to "meet" you.
