I'd be fine with a forum post for the assignments but why drop the journal entries? It would be easier for you to check student journal entries without having to sort threw all the posted questions and comments.

Copy paste works fine so as I'm not having any problem.(now that my "sticky" is stuck to my signature)..it doesn't matter to me.

I agree with the majority. I like the idea of having the assignments on the main board and then post our work to the journal.

Don't forget guys, if you want to copy from the forum thread/post, go to the 'printable version' button and you can from that, but not from the normal view!


You know where I stand on it.

I had a little trick to copy/paste from the pm. I went up to the browser menu and click View -> Source. It'll pop up the page in html in Notepad. It can be confusing to look at though since it's in code. But that's what I did. Then I pressed ctrl+F to type in a keyword to jump right to where I want to copy (passing all the other code).

Ok, now that I try to write it out it sounds a lot more complicated than just using printable view in the forum Just a nerdy programmer here making things harder. I'll stop now

I have not had any problem with ^A,^C, ^V, etc.

I do have a concern, if all the assignments are posted publically, than anyone can get the info and go with it on their own. That is not a problem per se. However, if the idea is to have classes on a schedule, well the public aspect makes that not so helpful.

I'd like for the classes to be kept for the students only. But, that's just me trying to feel special!!

I'm happy whatever you decide. I'm just glad to be a part of this.

But, if it were up to me I'd keep it private.

Hi everyone - I have a little time and jumped here to thank Epona for keeping me up to date - 'homework' is a delight while waiting at the hospital! (Being an Aries, waiting isn't always my bestest trait)

Also I wanted to thank everyone else who sent along well wishes for my mom. She broke her hip and is still hospitalized and will be needing home care for a good while - I'm currently looking at the financial aspect for all of this - but that is a whole 'nother story.

Anyway thanks everyone and I'm keeping up if only on the sidelines.

MY only thing with doing it in chat is that there are so many different time zones working here. My day is anothers night, and people work, and sleep at the same times, lol.

Just as with the witches key, late comers are just now getting the benefit from all the wonderful information at hand, and as will others years down the line.

Now let's get into those who are too bashful to join in on things, but will happily do so in lurker mode.

I know alot of people dont like lurkers, but they are a marvelous lot, once you relize they are just shy people who thirst for knowledge and companionship in their own special manner.

Do as you will though.

It doesnt matter one way or the other. I am just happy to be apart of something here. I personally would like to see the lessons kept private until after the lessons are done in journal. But it should be available to others as well. (I am a lurker by nature myself.) and if you want to go in depth then you contact Epona and sign up and get involved. That way Epona can keep class sizes managable, and she can help us all get where we want to be.


Just my two cents. So i suppose the answer is, prefer to keep it private, but it should be available(like everything else here) to all .
