Morning All.

Just waking up, first cup of coffee in my hand, and Loreena McKennitt in my headphones. A peaceful morning, and I am feeling better (finally). I plan on working on packing more today, making incense, and most of all, taking care of me.

Out of all that has happened over the last month, I have learned that I need to learn that co-dependency can be a very bad thing.....

So the journey continues...

Lodemai, safe journey! All I know about Cincinnatti is King's Island which is an amazing amusement park, if I beleive correctly (I was there in the 80's) they have one of the fastest rollar coaster rides in the country. As far as shopping goes...not a clue....

Kath, your son's party sounds like it will be very well catered....lol...you are an awesome mom, and I am sure he will be delighted as everyone else will be with all your wonderful planning....you must tell us how it turns out and pictures!!

As far as the pesky weeds, please remember they are herbs, just misplaced...lol....and watch out so you don't hurt your back!

Stacey, glad you are getting some rain, we finally have some sunshine this morning, I had almost forgetten what a sunny morning looked like! Moving...argh....I feel your pain girl! Yep, Men are expensive, messy pets, but they sure can be useful at times....I am sure the move will be fine, if not eventful...who knows what may happen once you get to the new place..perhaps a man might jump in to help, and ,many new acquaintances have been formed that way!

I wouldn't have a clue about how to look for a new car....done it, been there, but I hate it, at least you have some family to assist in the process!

Well, I am off to the boards, emails, and various things I do each day for OdSS...the pendants for our community have been ordered...so look for them in the days to come in the emporium, as soon as they are finished, I will post a picture for you all to see...they are simply amazing....

Good morning everyone.

So very glad to hear you are feel much better Lady E. I sure do understand about co - dependency. So have found it very hard in my current relationship as I had become very independent during the time with my ex and after the split. And once this wonderful man came into my life have found it very hard to loosen the grips and have him do for us. But it is wrok in progress and I intend to hold onto a very good part of the independance and he has become use to it. He says that my ability to stand alone and be strong was one of my attractive points to him. But he does feel hurt at times when I fix things that should have been his job. We're still learning together, and it is fun.

Have a safe trip Lodemai, hope you experience some new and wonderful things along the way.

Good morning everyone. I'm up packing for my trip to Cincy. I going to have withdraw not being able to have access to the castle while I'm away. Guess I'm going to have to find a starbucks or something so I can go wireless.

EL its good to hear your getting better, and taking better care of yourself. The theme park sounds great but I bet i wont get that much alone time on this trip.

Morning All,

Finally took the dawg for a short walk this morning. First time I have been able to do that for awhile.....she was a "lunatic" (Her name is Luna).

Came back and now I am bushed.....I have done some work on the Poppet section in the BOSm and plan on working on more of the site later on. Also I am working on the Divination Section, I am going to add a few more decks and also something very special.

The Emporium has been updated and will have our OdSS Pendants in it as soon as Peter Stone Jewelers send me a pic of the finished piece.

Packed and sent off some boxes to Colorado yesterday, very bittersweet....but it has to be done, and yeah, life stinks sometimes.

Well, just thought I would drop in and say hi, I'll be around today off and on, you can either PM me or leave a message on the boards, and I will get back to you....

Consoling myself with a tub of Ben & Jerrys, nursing a broken nose, and trying not to get over stressed!

LE I'm glad to hear you are making such a good recovery, and things now seem to be moving in the right direction for you.

A cooler day in sight for South Carolina finally, Phew it's been in the 100's with high humidity and pop-up showers. We are still working on putting the pool up. I love your comment, LE, about expensive messy pets. So very true, My Hubby Pet has decided cement is in order for this stupid pool. We have now been working on the foundation for 3 weeks. Anyway...Glad to hear everyone here is doing well, getting better and moving forward. Forward is good. Up

Just a small pop in to say hi. Am dealing with some family issues at the present so have not been around. Am having with drawals from the castle, hope you all are very well and life is travelling smoothly for one and all.

With luck I may have more time to look around tomorrow. So until then stay safe everyone.

Good morning! Well, the appraiser came by our new-to-us house and said it appears it will appraise for enough to get the mortgage. Looks like we're going to be homeowners soon! (I won't really relax until we sign the papers at settlement!!)

As for the "no posts exist for this thread" message - I get it too, when I click on the LAST page in this thread, but if I click on the prior to last page, everything comes up fine. Maybe it just creates a blank last page in expectation of the next post? I don't know how it works, but just a tip, Pagan Mystress, if it gets quirky on you again.

Sorry for the family issues, Kath. I understand about the "withdrawal" - this place is fast becoming an addiction for me.

I too have had the "NO POSTS EXIST" notice and your right Annie, I just go to the page behind. Kath, hope all works out for your family. Annie, I just told Hubby that I'll be happy if we get the pool up before the snow flies.( I live in coastal SC. It snows maybe every 2-3 years) I have been waiting patiently for him to agree to a pool for 10 years. I absolutely love to swim under water and hate sand in my suit, so please forgive the ranting about this whole thing.
I truly pray each day that all our castle occupants are well and thriving. Much success in all our ongoing projects.

Well a great hello to everyone. All is back in order in my life ( as orderly as it gets anyway). I am so grateful for my life, my family and all I have. Things can change in the blink of an eye.

Well the party on the weekend for my son went really well. Although you have to wonder on the lives of some of these kids. There were three that were, well no words can describe them. One of the three told me the cake was shit, one was takling about drugs. Gotta wonder if its too much un supervised tv or what the heck is going on in the home. I have great kids, no angels, but great kids.

Have been involved in organising an apprentership, trainee program through the school for my oldest. The school help the kids ( those that want it) an apprentership in year eleven where they attend work one day a week, and than Tafe one day a week ( this is alternate so they only miss on day a week school) so that when they leave year 12 they are second year in their apprentership. We are so proud of his desire to get intot he program, they need to have good grades to be considered, so proud of him.

Besides all of this I intend for a quiet day, some time to contemplate the things that have happened in the last week and some rest.

Going for a look around to see what has been happening on the boards in the last week.

Good morning all.

Awoke to another beautiful sunny morning, each day has started so brightly this week, but I'd more or less guarantee that there will be thunderstorms and rain by late afternoon - so the garden has turned wild again, the elements are just not giving us time to get out there and pull some weeds!

The children break up from school tomorrow, and a long six weeks summer holiday looms ahead. My two teenagers have spent this whole week with their dad - apart from coming here after school for dinner! So I'm taking this as a bit if breathing space before the 24/7 summer onslaught.

My other half is bringing my step son home with him this weekend, so the house will be even noisier, with my step daughters coming up over the coming weekends - my nerves and the house itself just can't face them all being here together!!! It would mean 2 adults and 6 kids aged between 2 and 15 all in the same space, there just isn't enough chocolate available to keep me calm!

Anyway, off to put the washing out to dry while the sun is still shining. (The nose is getting better by the way!)

Just dropping in to say hi, and I haveb't forgot about you all.

Life is just so dang busy and I guess that's a good thing. I am feelingmuch better, but still get tired very easily...and the dang coughs won't go away! But I know it will just take time.

My focus now is creating a new life for myself and making out castle here a place of wonder, enlightenment and life.

I want to thank you all, for without you our castle is nothing....all of you have contributed so much, your energies, thoughts and just being here have meant so very much to me....anf for that I am forever grateful....

I have alot of things I would like to do, and I know you will enjoy them all (at least I hope so)lol

I Hope everyone is well wherever you dwell, and if you need me, please don't hesitate to PM me, I am ususaly off and on all day long.

I have some incense to bag and box today, as well as work on our emporium and add some of the pieces of jewelry.

So very happy that you are better Lady E for without you this wonderful place would not be.

Pagan-Mystress is sounds like you have one heck of a time coming with all the kids. I understand about the teenager thing, with four kids of my own ( two being teenagers) it can all be over whelming. I was blessed with the fact that my partner had no children from a previous relationship ( not that having them is bad mind you, just hard to intergrate everyone into one family). But I have the lovely problem of them when they come home from dads. All makes for an interesting life if not a bit stressful. Good luck and strenght to you.

My day is off well. Just the usual things ont he agenda today, washing, cleaning, getting the kids ready to go to their fathers for the weekend. Well I should not say usual, I am filing my DIVORCE PAPERS today, YYYYYEEEEYYYYYYY. I have finally saved up enough to do that. So even though my man and I got engaged recently, I can cut those ties for one last time. I am a happy woman.

Congrats on the divorce, Kath! I'm probably not sharing anything you don't already know, but there are some pretty good rituals out there (or write your own) for cutting the spiritual link of an ended marriage as well. I found it to be as liberating if not more so than the legal paperwork. Most consist of calling a circle in whatever way you do, then using your athame to "cut" the psychic ties and links between you and your ex. Some people use two candles, tied together by a golden thread, and cut the thread while saying words about the severing of the ties. It's usually a time to say something about wishing both well on their respective paths, but if it's a dangerous breakup, put up protections around you and your loved ones. Make it your own, then have a party afterwards!
