Good morning all.

Have fun with the divorce.... uh, well Kath, I mean it in a truly positive way. I've never been married, and the very idea of marriage terrifies me, so I probably tend to look at divorce more as a correction of a mistake. In fact, I have to go try on bride's maids dresses this weekend, and I feel my blood pressure rising at the very thought. Me, having commitment issues...no not at all. LOL

I hope you find your move to Colorado a refreshing beginning, Lady Elaine.

I helped my friend move last weekend. It was just 4 girls, so that was fun. But, I think she is much happier now. She's a grad student and was living in college housing, which is not condusive to study. It's a delighful thing to see a positive transformation in someone so quickly simply from changing their environment.

Kath, Congrats are in order, and I am so happy for you to be able to cut the ties that bind. Annie has a very good idea as well, and I don't think that a ritual that she mentioned is a bad idea at all, I might perform something like that myself! There are few things I would like to rid myself of, and a ritual of that nature could incorporate a few of them! Great idea!

Stacey, Josh is going to Colorado on Sunday, I am stuck down here for a month or so more.....funds just aren't what they need to be.

We have him all shipped off except for clothes to take ont he plabe his psp2 and Ipod....(gotta love 19 year old men-children)

He is going back, getting things in order with help from some friends of mine and my sister, and then it will be done.

Colorado is my home, and the bayou here is nice, but I could never call an area like this "home." Living in the buckle of the bible belt...well.....unless I find a cottage in the woods somewhere away from the bible-thumpers (as Sundown as suggested) I just can't live here.

And the idea of doing that all alone, well I need my sister and kids around, not to mention, cats, a dog, and various other critters that may come into my life.

I yruly believe just being here in the house alone for a bit and finishing things up will help me alot....it is a transistion similar to a death on many levels. With all that has gone here as well, and friends (well I thought they were) gone, it is a journey done very much alone....which I believe is the way the Universe meant for it to be.....I am stronger now in my convictions than ever, and co-dependent on no one....what a delicious feeling!

Well, I am off to place some awesome things in our castle today, make some phone calls to some folks to tie up loose ends and that will be that!
