I miss the thread, so through I would start another. I very much enjoy hearing what everyone is up to in their lives etc.

I have spent the day cleaning firstly, the dust that blows in is incredible. But now that it is done the house smells so good, did some really good cleansing while I was at it. Still had some time to put in some posts, so that was good.

This weekend we should be finishing my chairs, the steal has arrived to do the edging. I can't wait, they will be great on the front patio. Good place to sit and have a cuppa in the mornings. I also finished the bead work on the celti rug I was doing and hung it behind our bed, looks good as well.

Have a couple of good books backed up to read, am currently on The Secret. So I think tonight looks good to curl up in bed with the books, some choci and relax.

The chairs sound like they are gonna be cool.

I sooooooo need to do some cleaning as well, but always seems hubby has tentrillion things planned for the two days off on the weekend. Sheesh guess i'm gonna have to lovingly tell him to hit the road without me cause summers nearly over and I havve't gotten one single thing done. He was on vacation last week so even the weeknights were shot to shit. Loves him dearly but he can cramp my space and my style sometimes!

We went to Topeka, the capital city, about an hours drive away yesterday. To do some hotwheels swaping with a bud of his. He collects them, I shoudl say they do, lol. (ok I fess up I loves the little vw bugs!) We also went to the kansas state historical museum. Saw alot on the native americans that orginated in the state and how they lived, was nice to touch upon them again. Clear into the later white settlers that really started mucking things up.

Have had alot of changes going on in my world since I have been gone , with no puter. has given me alot of time to regain some insight into me, without connections to anyone else.

I have decided it is time to take my 'gifts', (guess I can give up on the damn coffemaker!) and talents and put them to use.

I am also reading the Secret Kath. Am nearly done with it, last couple chapters. An awesome book indeedy! it solidifies some things I have 'known' since I was litle. I also finally found the dvd, now to find time to watch it! If you like it you will also like Lynn Grabhorn. Who teaches pretty much the same type thing. Law of Attracton. She focuses moreso on the feeeeeelings, lol, how she spells it.

new job taking getting used to not having much morning time for stuff, so am off here for a spell to check out a couple other things on the boards.

Kath, I can't wait to see the chairs. I've not tried to read the Secret yet. I don't know... I have this completely immature habit of avoiding popular nonfiction. But if you guys say it's not bad, I might consider it.

Well, this morning started with major thunderstorms and showers around four o'clock, which is really rather odd. We usually get our thunder storms during long hot evenings. In spite of waking up really early, I am taking them as a good sign for the week. We recieved a good soaking of rain, in which we were of desperate need. In fact, the rain and the lightning lasted for hours. Most thunder storms here last only a couple of minutes. I love thunder storms. They can be so beautiful and energizing.

Well, I am going off to read the boards. I hope all of your weeks begin with positive energy.

It sounds as if The Secret is working it magic on you as well...I , too, beleive I have always known its message, but society has tried to mask its power.....I am so delighted to see it out and now working! The museum sounds wonderful...I love to wander the rooms and halls for hours....we have a wonderful one here, I have not yet been too...now that things willbe settling down for a bit, maybe I should treat myself. There are gardens associated with this museum that go back to the civil wat era and supposed tobe simply bee-u-tiful.

Josh made it home safely.....IM'd me...was too busy catching up with friends, siblings, his dad and Colorado..he will call me today and we will chat....I miss him already...

I will receive a phone call today from the owners of El CHico restaurants. Iplaced my resume on Monster.com last week...I have to find a way to support myself in addition to the incense business... and I felt it was best to utilize my talents as a restaurant mgr. I got a phone call back in 2 days from a head hunter and they hooked me up withnumerous companies....but El CHico caught my attention with their personable style and work ethic....so the call today is to meet the owners on thursday fill out paperwork, and it is done..it seems they loved me and I do not need to have another interview after thursday.....I still have to do the 6-week training in Dallas....but will end up here in Monroe after all....but moving none-the-less.....I need a place for me, my beasties and my man-child, when he returns.....(if he does) he sure loves Colorado

Anyway, I have a few things in store for our Castle here....some Angel cards and an Angel Tarot as well....and Yes, Novia I was thinnking of you.....

And Kath a Crystal tarot in the divination suite may bot be abad idea either, that will be on the to-do list

Good morning all (even though it is not for alot of you guys). Hope your days are going well so far. Mine has started well.

I know what you mean about knowing the subget in the Secret Novia. Have known it for many years but it is nice to reinforce it. Have been working hard at the mind set and has been coming up a treat to date. It has also given me some softness when it comes to the ex. Believe it or not I cut him some slack yesterday with the amount of child support he pays and it feels good. Real good.

Stacey give it a read, even though we know it it also helps you put it into the old grey matter firmer.

Lady E glad the posts in Crystal Room were good, have many more for it. Good luck with the job I certainly hope all goes your way with that. Crystal Tarot sounds great, I have used the Crystal Ally Cards for years now and love them. Also love the idea of the Angel Tarot, looks like you have loads of great things planned for the castle.

Hi! My first post here, so bear with me!

Lady E, I noticed you mentioned Monroe and saw you are in Louisana. My dad went to college there in the late 60s....he loved it, fraternity and all! Only down side was that when he came home to Texas, his hometown girlfriend was pregnant....and not by him!

I have to say, I just joined the site today and it has such a peaceful and welcoming vibe that I'm really enjoying myself already. And there is so much to see....I can't wait to start reading everything!

Just so you know who I am, here's some info about me. My husband and I live in Texas and it's hot and wet here! We have two dogs that I am thoroughly devoted to (too much so, my husband jokes!) We are expecting our second baby in February and the nausea, while it has subsided some, is NO FUN! We have our first ultrasound in a week or so and I am beside myself to see this little one!

As for my path, I'm a solitary, eclectic Pagan with strong Goddess tendencies! I love her in all her forms! I'm participating in my first public circle this coming weekend and am nervous, but so excited! I've also recently decided to start my own container herb garden, so any tips for hot, gross weather would be greatly appreciated!!

I am a married (mommy) (mum) of two boys, Zacoria 5.7yrs and Emmanuel 2.3 years.. and i am currently (preg) with baby #3.. and i am 11 weeks.

life around here is pretty hectic atm... Zacoria has just started school.. my husband is busy working his butt off... and emmanuel is a full on two year old..

i spend my day running after the boys and cleaning up there mess.. but never seem to get any of the back log of house work done.

i really need some cleaning fairies to come help me hehe..

Hi everyone. The day is cloudy but not too bad. A good one for in the garden, so that is where I will be for the morning. I brought some rose bushes yesterday that were reduced at KMart so I got 4 for $10, great bargin.

Welcome to the thread cass, and congrats on the little bundle. I know what you mean about being full on. Two teenagers and two younder the youndest being 4. Some days are a blurr, but wouldn't have it any other way. Good luck with it all, just remember to breath ( thats in every day life not just the labour room).

Cass---I'll be 12 weeks on Thursday, so we're together in this pregnancy boat! Have you had a good 1st trimester? Mine has been okay, other than the constant nausea. It's funny how it's a different kind of nausea from my first pregnancy. I guess it's true that all pregnancies really are different! Ended up having a tiny ultrasound today (the nurse was having trouble finding the heartbeat with the hand-held doppler) and we saw the little one. Such a relief to see him/her there. Unfortunately for my husband....only one! He was hoping for twins! Ack!

Kath--cloudy here, too. I'm hearing the rumblings of a storm approaching and am planning on curling up with "Cottage Witchery" (so cute if no one has read it!)

Well not to change the subject, lol.

I have noticed that Owl has moved back into my life, not only in spiritual sense but in the physical as well.

The other day, and I do mean day. All 3 of our owls were across the street playing in the trees. One, musta been Momma, was sitting rather sternly nearby the othr 2 who were acting fools, lol. I sat and watched them for a couple hours, even managed to sneak and get a couple piccies of them sitting and flying about.

Hubby said when he went to work yesterday morning one was sitting over in the yard over at the side of the house where our bedroom is, in the neighbors yard.

Last night owl entered into my dreams. More in the dreams section, if I remember.

Guess he's tryin' to tell me somethin huh.

Found a downy owl feather in my yard the other day. I have a collection of owl feathers from them dropping them for me. Son found on beside his cardoor one day, he went to bring it to me, and I had him keep it as it was most apparently left for him, not I.

I need to achieve a balance in my life. I have once again gotten out of sorts.

Had a bout of having breathing issues, went to dr and he put me on a machine and said I ws only operating at 70% lung capacity. Put me on that advair crap. $176.00 a month! No tanky! took it for a couple weeks along with 2 claritin allergy pills now doing much better. He sais it was Reactive Airway Disease. IE reaction to an allergen, go figure oodles of rain, followed by oddles of sunshine, followed by oodles more rain, followed my oodles more sunshine, makes for oodles of molds and mildews duh! That and I have had no energy will or desire to clean anything. Dust reigns supreme in my house, so it is time for me to figure out what is going on and fix it.

Well coffee's done and I need to go and do at least one thing before work, so have a smacktacular day All!!!

Crescent, yep "Funroe" is a bundle of joy to live in! The "buckle of the bible belt" and a very depressed economy to boot.

As for container gardening, I am finding it much more effective than the gardens themseves....due to critters and with the rain and humidity, it is like a living greenhouse outside. I can weed, and two days later they are back even thicker....so I tend to do my herbbies in containers...

We should have a section on it in the BOS Gardening section, I'll check today to make sure, and if not I'll get it up for you.

I would like to welcome Kath to our Moderator status, I have placed the Crystal room in her care, and she now has access to the Moderaotrs board (that only the mods can see) and it is my hope that she is happy and enjoys her new position! So congrats are in order for Kath!

I have an interview for a manager position with El Chico restaurants at 10am this morning. I never thought I would get back into the restaurant industry, but, with my life where it is, I need to have a very strong income, and that along with the incense business, I should be fine. I worked at Olive Garden for 12 years, and that got me a heaadhunter from Monster.com, within 2 days after I posted my resume...so this should be interesting!

I am eliminating all my clients in the incense business except for one....my dear friend Jacki, so I can concentrate on her incense and then have a "real job" too.

Wish me luck everyone, my life is changing so fast, but the rollar-coaster ride is beginning to look like it might be one of adventure and fun....lol...I hope.
