Good Monday everyone

.
Crescent, when last I moved, I made a mistake that turned out to be a blessing when it came to unpacking. I forgot where I packed my shower curtain and didn't want to ruin my bathroom by taking a shower without it. I unpacked everything within two days searching for that damn curtain, and sure enough, it was in the very last thing I unpacked. Given, I only live in a one bedroom apartment, so I'm sure it's not as much as you have, but wanting to take a shower after moving during a 95 degree day was a motivator.
Faerychild, I just borrowed Harry Potter from a friend. It sure is filled with a lot of action so far.
Kath, it's great that you finished the chairs. I wish I could see them. I just can't seem to imagine them in my head.
Howdy, Novia. A restful weekend is the best kind.
Well, I have a funny event from my weekend that may bring someone a laugh. Saturday morning, I was doing a full clean out of the litter boxes. I was taking some stuff outside to rinse off. I opened the door, and this huge wolf spider charged in from outside. I know that many of you are from Australia or the US southwest and are accustomed to big bugs, but I have never seen a spider this big out of the zoo. To this east coast girl, it was a big ass spider.
So, the spider runs under my sofa, and I knew that I would never sleep a restful night again until this spider was out. I cannot stress how much I hate bugs. My usual method for getting rid of bugs is to suck them up into the vaccum, but I had my doubts this would work with this spider.
Being the coward I am when it comes to bugs this size, I knew I needed help, so I called a friend. She came over and we spent about half an hour trying to scare the spider out from under the sofa so she could kill. The spider, of course, was no where to be seen.
So, we decided to tip over the sofa, to get underneath. Because I have the ugliest sofa on the face of the earth, I cover it in throws and quilts, so I bergan taking those off. So, my friend is standing by with a shoe in one hand and a tennis racket in the other while I get ready to move the sofa. I get my composure, look to the side and see the the spider sitting on the back of the sofa next to me.
Being the brave soul I am, I screamed like a child and hid behind my friend who promptly managed to vaccum it up. We threw out the vaccum bag, and called it a day.
That was pretty much the most excitement I had over the weekend, but I think I would have prefered boredom.
