Hello Merry meet to all! I am new here and to Wicca. I have always had a feeling of connection to Wicca. I have finally made it here, because of friends and family I have always been reluntant. Things are working out, as they always do. I have decided to finally look into my connection with Wicca.

You will find many folks who are trying to discover their spiritual selves here in our castle. It does not mean giving up who you are at the moment, but building upon your fondation and being able to listen to voice within.

Many of us here are very eclectic in our studies....with eastern, Celtic, Native American, and many other spiritual and religious affiliations thrown in.

Please remember that spells are just prayers with tools....and not hocus-pocus...many Catholics light candles in just the same way witches do...with Saints instead of deities....and actually many of the Saints were deities at one time or another....you will find that Catholicism parallels Paganaism very closely, except without the guilt....lol

It is what sings to YOUR soul.....we are here to answer any questions or concerns you may have, and be sure to wander the halls....enjoy yourself, and discover.

If I may offer some additional help to you.....
There is a great book called "When someone you love is wiccan" (I don't remember who wrote it). I gave this book to my husband when we were dating and he found it to be very helpful. It gave him some rudimentary information and allowed for a dialogue to open up to ask additional questions. When I told him, he was very supportive (if he wasn't we wouldn't have gotten married lol) but he had lots of questions but had no idea where to start. After reading it, it quelled some basic fears that he had and he knew then what questions to ask.

Also, you might try the book by Scott Cunningham that gives an intro to wicca.

There is also a really good book, I think its called "The Barbaric Conversion- the conversion from paganism to christianity" (again, not sure who wrote it, all my books are in boxes currently )
This might give you some additional food for thought on the other side.

Good luck in your journey...remember it's a marathon, not a sprint- take your time.
