Oh my gadzookers!!!

DO NOT TRY AND EAT JUICY MUSK MELON WILST READING SCARED SHIUTLESS SPIDER STORIES WITH WONDERFUL VISUALS!!!

I 'bout choked to death!!!

Hey, you should have seen me the day I was using the blow dry to dry out my youngest shoes because she left them on the porch overnight. Out crawls this huge ass wolf spider!!! I about ran her ass over trying to get out of the bathroom. She was about to piss all over herself, because now Mom had to figure out how to kill it, and keep my already shaky dignity!!! (she kilt it in the end!)

Dignity shmignity hell! it's a huge ass spider we're talkin' about here!

As you can tell my puter is working. nicely I might add. I actually got the guy I asked the Divine for. A guy who was a techie by design. Been doing this since he was 12. was actually not even supposed to be on service phone, but was there by a mere fluke. (or divine design.) he had me do a system recovery from the disks as she should have had me do. BTW

wooooo hooooo hoooooo!!!!
woooo hooooo hoooo !!!!!!!
I was riiiight!!!
I was riiiight !!!

All's I had to do when I got the f****er back was hit the reseal button!!! No recovery was needed in the first place!!!

I tried to tell her that but ooooooooh noooooooooooooooooo!!!

he was a doll!!!!

took me from 4 last night until after 11 to finish the recovery stuff and another hour this a.m. to finish

ok who sent the the damn spider?!!! lol course mine was an itty bitty black booger!!! nah no more!!! Looked down and he was crawlin by my foot!!!

Finally finished the book The Secret. Loved it, but knew it. Now am working on the dvd.

Now I need to work on putting it to work for me, on a more regular basis than getting the right tech guy to fix shit right for a change!!!

Seems our cuppa clan is beginning to grow. It's nice to have this back again!!!!!

God Novia you have the best way of putting things. The last time I ran down a small child was the day I went with my son who was in kindy ( age 41/2) on a field trip to the hospital and had to go in a lift. I am very clostrofobic ( stuff the spelling hate to be closed in, small spaces) being the brave mum had a couple of kids in my care and of course the little asses wanted to go in the lift. So in we went clenched fists, deep breathing, and goddamn when the doors opend, I was outer that bugger quicker than lightening. I did help them dust themselves off once out of the lift!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, glad the clan seems to be growing. Such a wonderful feel.

Kat the cleanning bug was catching, got the bug up my butt last night and started moving furniture etc, almost finished today. Feels great.

Off for a look around, hope everyone else is having a good day.

Kath

P.S. Novia I have been working hard at putting the Secret into use and have had some great things come in ( cash) from areas we thought would early on be smaller. So great to get.

GOOOD MORNING CUPPA CLAN!!!! (and I even got a cuppa joe this mornin'!)

No doubt.

'All things are possible once we set our minds to it.'

'We are the creator of our own lives.'

It's funny once you see these quotes, and know about the Secret, which really isn't a 'secret' we all know it in our hearts, if we just sut the hell up and listen, just how many people over eons have tried to tell us what they knew to be true.

you can believe, or not, and have exactly the life you set forth to have, your call, one way or the other.

Sure, bad shits gonna happen, but how long that shit sticks to the bottom of your shoe, depends soley on Y O U !!

Ok, that bug I would like to have visit me ladies!!! I have dust bunnies with dust bunnies, they are multiplying faster than normal bunnies, and I swear one growled at me the other day!!!

TY Kath. I do try and share the visuals the best I can.

I have the most awesome set of damsel flies (small dragonfly looking things) that live outside the front of my house. One is bright blue and the other is greenish. they are getting so used to us as we come to the front door that they merely move to one side of the sidewalk and let us pass thru. Like sentry guards, lol.

LOL my ferret, stormy, tickles me. he isn't spoiled one bit. His cage is next to where the puter sits in my bedroom. He knows when I get on here I am going to be eating breakfast, and he gets some too ya know! he loves it when I have brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts. Cold of course. If his food bowl is empty, he fills it with his ass to show me it has no food in it cause he wouldn't use it for a chair if it did!! So I wonder, who's trained better, me or him?

Well luvs off I go........to balance my checkbook!!!!! Good thought good thought good thoughts!!!! $$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$ $$$$$$$ $$$$$$$ $$$$$

Good morning everyone,

I would love to have another cup of coffee right now, but I am at work and generally try to avoid the cafe unless I am in desparate need. One of the great things about working in a university library presently is that there is either a coffee shop in the library or one a few yards away, making it a constant dilemna of balancing how much caffiene I actually need in a day.

I am glad to hear the computer worked out, Novia. I am lucky, as my brother is exceptionally knowledgable with computers and I have a friend who works for a Geek Squad-like company. Computer advice is only a phone call or email away, and it's free.

Kath, if you hate elevators, you would hate where I work. The elevator next to my office in ancient and only has a 3 person capacity. Someone was actually stuck in it for a while yesterday. The library also has a nine-floor tower housing most of our collection. Those elevator feel like roller coasters.

Kat, isn't cleaning and cleansing wonderful when necessary? It's good that your reducing some of your clutter before you head off to school. Of course, when you get there, you'll just begin collecting school related clutter. The Bailey's Cream coffee sounds like an excellent idea. I love having such drinks when teh cool weather starts settling in here, but I am going to have to wait a few more months for that.

Well, I'm off to do some work and read some stuff. Have a great day.

Morning All. Very Happy

Kat...Dust bunnies? ....mine turn into dust dawgs....lol.... and in a short period of time...I have ceramic tile floors thorughout the whole house......so even a person walking in from outside causes dirt to collect...I can't imagine having carpet...not any more I love a swiffer....but I digress. I really need to gte rid of clutter and gt back to a more zen-like house.....way too much crap I have collected over the years..and I am sure a garage sale of things would assist me greatly at this point.....

Do you remember that job I was applying for managing a restaurant...well....

I got it!

I am off to Dallas for a 6 week training period beginning AUgust 14th....never fear tho, I will be around, and am tying up loose ends to make sure the house and incense business doesn't fall into the crapper as I do this....

They offered me an awesome salary and when I met with the owner, it was like meeting an old friend...we had many of the same styles of managing and also the same ideals of how and why to do things in regards to restaurants....I was thrilled. Him and his wife (who I had my first interview with) were both very personalble and also very open to what I desired....very kewl....

So I will have a real job again.....lol...

A fresh life, with a bit of the old....the only client I kept with the incense business is the one who is a dear friend.....that way I am not overrun with TWO full time jobs and end up exhausted....

Novia!!!! Congrats on puter...I was thinking about you yesterday and your delimma with the machine...it's awesome you got things working. I will make sure to look up spiders and see what their meaning is....I have a phobia about big-ass ones too.

Stacey, I believe a library in coffee go hand in hand...when I was younger, I hung out at them for hours each day (no wonder I had no social life)....books fascinate me, as well as knowledge....what a very cool and rewarding job!

Crescent, hope all is going well with you....packing is not a problem...unpacking....well.....I like to call it "household constipation" LOL ...it's a long story and one day I will tell you all about it...it is hysterical...we have so many boxes in our garage it is a joke....Sundown can tell you all about that! He has been here and seen the literally hundereds of boxes there....

well, I am off to do the daily stuff and get caught up....have a delicious day!!

Thanks, Lady Elaine! My husband and I got about a 1/4 of the box room unpacked....whoo-hoo, I know! The problem is that the boxes are HEAVY (I overpacked them) and I can't lift them and by the time ol' hubby gets home from work, he just wants to veg. Half of me thinks I should just stay packed because we will be moving again next summer (oh, the military life! Next move will be our last....thank goodness!) We'll see. Technically the box room is the baby's room-to-be, so I guess eventually the boxes will have to go!

Lady Elaine....congrats on the new job!

Way to go Lady E , wonderful news on the job. Life is really turning around for you. Thats great.

Novia I'm glad the puter is working again. This one is enough to make me pull the old hair out sometimes.

Stacey, its funny cua where I live we only have a lift int he hospital and that has only three floors. No esclaters, high rise buildings anything like that. And when we go to the coast, the shopping centres, the people, it blows your mind. Don't think I am a city person. Although it is enjoyable to see the kids with the moving stairs, my youngest hasn't seen any yet. The first time my oldest girl saw the ocean she wanted to know where the shallow end was ( she was 4).

Cresent, all in good time with the unpacking. And if the boxes are too heavy it gives you good time between each one to find the right places for everything.

Well my day is off to a good start. I finished cleaning the house yesterday and everything feels fresh. I am on a mission to wash the dogs today. And that is a mission. Will see how warm it gets this morning or if I leave it to the afternoon.

Have a good day all.

Congratulations Lady Elaine I'm so glad things are looking up for you!
PS don't stop making the incense, I'm hooked the dream that you made me has been working wonders for the work I have been doing plus its helping me get out of my writing slump. Lately my creative side has been in the gutter but I feel I'm pulling out of it as things are starting to lighten up at work a bit.

To all the great souls here have a great evening and a large cup of JOE!

LOL

welcome Suzume. Indeed drop us an intro in the intro board is you have not done so already. Gives us a chance to get to know folks, and you can learn about them as well.

WB Lodemai!!!

LE like you doubted you'd get the job. I was a certainty ya know! LOL Good luck with it All, but you won't need luck.

I too finally got the cleaning bug to stop by. I spent 2 hours yesterday scrubbing my tub! I know shame on me. I have 'wiped it down' with cleaner but have not scrubbed it in ages. It's all white and purty again!!! Gives me inspiration to move forward now.

I too am needing to declutter. Too amny knicky knackies. Zen sounds good LE.

We had a garage sale last month, er hubby had one and I put a few things out. Hubby sold not one hotwheel, but all my stuffies sold! except the copper half round wall mounted copper pot rack and copper wall stuffies. (whole box-$25.00.) (Copper and stainless soooo clash!!) he's having another in September so may get out more stuff to unstuff meself!

I need to do some baking Kat, got some stuff in mind, and have gotten the stuff to make a set of curtains for my gf.

Have the ideas now would someone, nicely, kick me in the ass!!!

Hubby picked me up a 1970's rock tumbler, with grinding wheel, and it still works, got a brain fart for that last night that could end up getting me my grandpas lapidary works. (ok I'm bad but if anyone else ends up with it they won't appreciate it, they'll store it or sell it! he has tons of fire agates, and all sorts of turquiose from trips he and grams used to make when they were in the rv club and went around the country camping!)

I also would like for him to teach me to do stained glass as I had another fart of the brain regarding my marble collection. small holders for windows to hang them up and let the sun shine thru them!

Well folkies hi ho hi ho it's off to move mine arse I go
hiiiiiiiiiiii hoooooooooooooooo!!!!!

tigger pounces and huggles!!!

Lodemai, I love making the incense, so no woeeis there, I am so delighted you like the "Dream" I made for you.....I think the trick is using real camphor, and jasmine flowers....it is a very old recipe, and one that I personally lobe as well....powedered incenses are my passion...they are such a joy to create and feel the energies gorw and merge....very kewl....

Kath, I think the info you are posting in your Crystal room is amazing, and so very interesting.....I knew quite a bit about crystals, but your info is aiding me in so many ways, thank you from the bottom of my heart for such awesome info, and also for sharing it with the whole group....you are a very blessed soul, and I am very honored you are here with us!

Stacey, I sure do hope tolearn some new recipes, LOL. I am an avid recipe collector....and El Chico's food is amazing....went there last night in fact and delved into their cuisine....awesome dtuff...authentic Tex-Mex.....the real thing...no taco-hell here....

Novia, it seems that your creative Muses are tapping on your shoulder....lol....I can't wait to see how, what and who comes to life! It should be very loverly to be certain...I like the stained glass idea especially....

Kat , who cool about creating the choker....I never got into making my own jewelty, but wire-wrapping has always fascinatied me....and the bread sounds awesome....I am into easy, and thanks again for sharing the recipes in our collection, I will be sure to check em out!

I finsihed the Vegan recipe section last night, and plan on adding some more to the apothecary today, so I will be here off and on....I gots loys of calls to make and things to do, but I am so addicted to this place, it's like therapy....lol...

Hi Everyone

I have been gone awhile. It feels so nice to come back to the family here (with so many new members as well). I missed everyone. There is so much going on with everyone, I'll have to find the time to catch up.

I had a very very... very rough July. I have been gone due to my health, and some very difficult things happened, and then the depression kicked back in (history of severe depression here). Long story short, doctor ordered I do nothing but rest, which is all I can do cuz too much activity causes me pain and exhaustion. So I spend most of my time in my big comfy chair at home. But I'm on the mend. And I've got a much better handle on the depression than I used to years ago and I'm very proud of myself for it, but I think I still have far to go.

I would just like to say that I'm so very blessed to have a family who loves me, and my man who has been taking such good care of me he deserves an award, and an extended family here who always lifts my spirits.

Lots of love and blessings to everyone
