The lady who gave me my kitten last year called him Milo. It was just the perfect name for him so I kept it. I like to call him Miloneus too.

We also have an 8 year old cat named Bobcat because that's what he looks like... a small chubby bobcat Smile

We have one black cat with a little white on the chin and under the neck, a little white on the feet she is called Dusty, because as a kitten in the litten tray there was always little white foot prints everywhere. And the name has suited really well as she now likes to roll in the dirt like a dog, she also likes to roll in the mud and play under the sprinkler, in the shower base and drinks from taps.

Also have a younger cat white with some black patchs she is called Lilly, just one of those names that came with no reason at all, but it suits her she is often called Lillian.

A very large dog called Budda, as a pup just so rolly polly and we use to rub his fat tummy as it would poke out when he was sitting.

A maltesse cross little dog called Molly, she is white and hairy. The kids named her, she is very old and finding it harder to get around now.

I love them all, their very spoilt. The cats have the run of the inside of the house. The dogs have their tea cooked nearly every night, they like their vegies.

Let's see here, we have one Dog, german shepard/dalmation named Kiki, after the movie Kiki's delivery service which my youngest used to love. Fits cause if ya throw it she'll deliver it right back to ya, guarnateed!

Then there is the ferret which I got at the flea market. Was under a basket scoot'n it all over the placed, named him Stormy, and boy does it fit!

Then there is the tuxedo black and white cat that my son found. Called him obie. short for obnoxious!, now we call him Obese, lol cause he's a fat cat!

then my oldest's cat, a calico, named Callie.

We had two other dogs who have passed on. A wound for sound Brittany spaniel, named trouble, and well earned throughout her lifetime! And a chocolate lab/chocolate dobie named, what else, Hershey!

One cat who has passed on. She was born backwards, not breathing. I worked on her for some time, and she came round, and she was the wide eyed little thing after all that so I named her bright Eyes.

I yam what I yam, and that's all that I yam!!

Lets see, our dog is a german shepard (possible mix of german and australian shepard) and his name is Anubis. He just looked like Anubis with the long nose and that when we got him as a puppy, so that is what I named him.

Our kitten is white with black from his forehead all the way down his back and tail. He has pink ears. Originally, when we first got him we thought he was a girl so his name was Princess Penelope (a compermise between my girls) and then after the trip to the vet we found out "she" was a he. So his name was changed to Joey.
My middle girl had just gotten a toy puppy that had Joey on the tag, so she decided that should be the cats' name..so that was that.
I have a tendency to call him Cat a lot and that seems to be the name he listens to most often.

It has been a bit of a tradition to let my brother pick the names for my pets. He seems to have a sense for it.

My oldest cat is Lotus Blossom. She is 14 years old and her mother was a stray cat I found. Actually, it's a weird story. I was in middle school and had just gotten off my school bus. The bus started to drive away and ran over my dog--it was an aweful sight I'll never forget. As we were burying my dog, I found Lotus' mom, who we thought was too young to have babies because she was so small. She had eight kittens total, in a very traumatic birthing, but only three survuved. Lotus was the smallest, with the saddest blue-green eyes you've ever seen. Now, she looks like a bowling ball with a tail and head.

My 12 year old male cat is Thomas. He was a stray as well. Thomas is special--he seems to be more human than cat. I can understand what he is saying and his thoughts. And the look in his eyes is as intelligent as any human.

Both of my cats are black. As I lived in a rural area at that time, I think the people were just superstitious and less inclined to take in black cats, but that is fine, as I do not discriminate.

My cats are more like older siblings than my children. Thomas yells at me if I stay up too late, and Lotus is just as protective of me as a older sister. Because my apartment complex only allows two animals, they are all I have for now, but they are more than enough.

We have Lola Mary-Bridget, a 4 lb. chihuahua. My husband named her Lola after that song "Lolololola, just like cherry cola" and I named her the Mary-Bridget part after my grandmother, whose birthday she shares-Feb. 7. Then there's Meezer, a tiny Siamese cat, I guess that name is self explanatory. We have a beautiful gentle giant Ragdoll cat named Milo after my great grandfather who caught malaria in the Civil War and came home to New Hampshire too sick to ever work again, but not too sick to father 10 children. Embarassed And we have a long haired tuxedo cat, a very elderly and classy gentleman named Friday. I took him from my son because my son got a big dog that chased Friday all over the house and tormented him endlessly. And that's our family.

We have a yellow Lab that is mostly white. His name is Frankie. When we adopted him (he actually adopted us!) my husband was saying all kinds of names out loud trying to decide on a name. Hubby said "Frankie" and the dog got up and walked right over to him. Guess Frankie liked that name!

Many blessings,

We have two cats that are the extended children.

Bob is our big gray - named him after bob on that 70's show.
Cody is our blond and white - seem like a good name for kid that gets in trouble and it fits!

I just pick names that pop into my head. Sometimes it is very quick..like the animal knows its own name..and a couple of others..takes a week or so to get to know them.

We have a cat named Mina Moonshadow who is a beutiful Snowshoe Siamese Cat we rescued from the Humane Society in South Bend. She is such a diva. She loves to sneak behind me in my chair here and perch her front paws up on the back of my shoulder and look over at the monitor. It's as if she sits and reads with me online all the time. Smile

We have seven furbabies. All rescue except one.

Five cats whose mom was a stray and got run over in front of our
house and I hand feed the babies with a bottle and canned mothers
milk.
Their names are; Bully- he's pure black and bulled his way around
since he was a baby. Einstien-who did everything first.
Sassy-she's a primadonna, Mittens-she dances to music only she
can hear lol, and BittyKitty-she was so small when she was born.

Then theres Pepper, he's a guineapig and he is one fiesty hot little
fella.

And Harley, a small terrier mix who we got from the next door
neighbor when she got hit by a car and he didnt know how to care
for her. He did pay her vet bill tho, he is really a nice guy.

I lost my first guineapig TootsieBear who was the sweetest little
baby you could ever ask for, and my Mr. Maxwell, who was a
stray and would never come, but he was a natural traveling cat
and he was loveing.

And I lost my familar three years ago, my Ginger who was
half Wolf and half Malmute. She was my best friend and I will
miss her. She was 17 years old when she passed and I had
her with me her whole life.

But I have a new familar and that is Bully. We are truly bonded
in a Spiritual way.

Blessed Be
Marioam

I have only a cat at the mo, his names is Whiskers, he was a stray too. We were goin for a meal one day and saw him sittin at the side of the road wen we drove past to get to the restaurant. Wen we finished 2 n a half hours later, he was still there, so we picked him up and took him home. His ears were damaged and chewed up, but otherwise he was beautiful, with the most stunning markings u've ever seen on a tabby. He's been with us now for about 8 years, and despite living outside all year round he still loves cuddles in the sunshine and rolling on his back at my feet wen i hang out the washing. And he hasnt grown since we got him, he's so weenie! But has a big mouth so that makes up for it (in his eyes anyway lol)

Past pets have been called Ike (hamster, named aftr the baby in south park), Sooty (black cat, go figure) and Larry (possibly the longest living hamster never recorded, notched up 4 years with us and was owned a year or 2 b4 that by neighbours who gave him that bad name!)

People in my family usually ask me to name their pets, i usually come up with sumthn that suits them down to the ground (like Twix the dog, a yorkshire terrier who was all black n brown wen my aunt got him, and Dusty the cat, a tabby who was the brother to Sooty lol)
