Morning everyone.

Larc I am so glad to see you back, my prayers for good health to you. And it is nice to know when needed your family are there to pick you up and dust you off.

Gee Novia it sounds like you have a great lot of things to tuck into. I love the idea of the rock tumbler. We had one but the ex took it when he left, I believe it is still in pieces in a big box, only cuz I loved it. I was only a very early beginner, got to know some people at the lapidary club and scored an big tub of agates, moonstone, garnets, etc. All gone. Not to worry. It is fun though. Sounds like you grandpa is very talented with the tumbling, and stained glass.

Glad you like the posts in the crystal room Lady E. I have always loved my crystals, I have them all over the house. I have some really nice big clusters of amythest from around the mines out here, a girlfriend of mine us to work for a company that supplied parts and would go out there, the men would give her rocks ( as the called them) for a big chocie cake and some KFC. I would make the cake and it was great to see what she would bring home. Smokey quartz clusters as well. The house feels so good after a cleaning, I usually ulternate between putting them out in the moon with the sprinkler on them of salt baths.

Anyway hi everyone else. Stacey I really like the things you have been posting as well. Very interesting.

Well it is Friday afternoon for me, and I am about to get the kids ready for their weekend with their father. So it is a quiet cuddle up of a weekend for me and my man. Not before we do the shopping for the fortnight, always an entertaining time when it is just to two of us. The last time we went we were loading the car, I threw the bags of chips in the back on his head so they flew over the top of the car ( all in fun) which made some of the passes by stop a look. We very much enjoy the trip to the shops and usually spend the most of it laughing. I hope you all have a good, safe and happy weekend as well.

Stay safe everyone.

Well, it's Friday morning out my way, and the work day has just started.

It's nice to see you back Larc. I hope your situation improves. Rest up.

My friend I was cat sitting for called this morning and left a voice mail saying she was back from camping early, so I imagine I will be entertained by an interesting story when I next see her. I have the usual planned for hte weekend: an early start on Saturday to do laundry and cleaning. Hopefully no giant spiders will be waiting on more door step tomorrow morning. As I do not have a washer and dryer, I use the laundry room for thte apartment complex and like to get there early so that I can use multiple machines at once without inconviencing others. And, there is just something about getting up early on a weekend morning while everyone is still asleep. Although I think I would rather be in bed and asleep myself, I do enjoy the quite of the morning while the sun is rising.

But, for everyone else, have a delightful weekend and never turn down a random adventure.

Hello everyone. Hope you are all having and have had a good weekend. I had a lovely one, went too fast though. We got the old shopping done, gee it is getting expensive in the supermarket these days. Made the cushions for the chairs, they look great. Then had a bit of a cuddle up with a few movies, a block of chocie and just went with the flow of things.

Now the week starts again, gettin ready to do the school run and then off up town to pay some bills etc.

welcome back larc. Missed ya,even though I've been gone a spell too, lol.

Depression gets the best of lots of folks, and I am so glad you have such an awsome support system in place arund you. it makes the universe of difference in how well people do when struck by a bout of it.

Always know that whatever energies you might need are out there. Just ask. You don't even need to pop into group, there are enough of us about in here that will hear you without one typed word.

Alas the weekend did go by too fast. Spent it with hubby of course. We went to an antique show on Saturday, buoght me some more marbles, might just gather all I've lost over the years, lol.Went to the toy and train show sunday, oh look bought some more marbles, lol. not really a 'collector, so much as a gatherer, but guess I might need to start checking into just what I own, who knows I might have a rarity or two.

Glad you had an awesome weekend Kath.

I just want to add in here that all of you guys are posting some awesome info on such a variety of things, and that one day I might get my head out of my ass and start posting again as well.

Well, since I got 20 minutes to be to works and a severe case of the cramps slowing me down I might get off here and move mine arse!!!

Tigger pounces and huggles to All!!

Aww, thanks Novia. That means a lot to me. Just knowing I have all that support here and at home keeps me afloat in the lowest of times.

I used to gather all sorts of marbles too, not for any reason other than that they are shiny and colorful Laughing I found a bag of them yesterday when I was looking for my drawing pencils. I still like playing jacks, it was one of my favorite games as a kid. My kitty cat makes it hard to do now though, he's such a cheater Wink

I totally agree with you on the shopping Kath. I usually do it on my own, but my man has helped me the past few times cuz I can't lift things right now. I prefer when he's not there, yesterday I spent a lot more than normal because like a kid he just had to have everything he saw. If I left the shopping to him he'd buy nothing but top sirloin steaks and beer Laughing . Gotta love 'em.

I'm an early weekend riser too Stacey. I love that quiet time. I open up the curtains and let the sun in and just enjoy the peace.

This weekend was a HOT one, and they're only expecting hotter this week. We went to see the Black Crowes on Saturday. It was outdoors and 97 F degrees. We were pretty cranky and it made it hard to enjoy ourselves. But all in all it was a good weekend. We went to the art supply store and I got back to drawing and my man back to painting. I love those quiet kinds of weekends.

Good morning everyone.

I must say Novia I have never heard of collecting marbels, although I remember playing them as a kid and there were some sure pretty ones. I like shinny things though, have a whole array of shinny things.

Not a bad day yesterday for a Monday, paid a visit to my natropath, picked up a prezzie for a 1 year old, did the bill thing. Kids went off to a disco last night ( school one), so the house was quiet for a couple of hours with only the little ones with us.

Not too much on the agenda for today, baking, washing the usual.

Have a good one all.

Afternoon everyone, Larc it's good to have you back. Nova thank you for welcome back. I spent the weekend and most of today looking after my little girl. It seems there is a bug going around the daycares here in St. Louis the little one are getting fevers around 101 to 103 and it lasts for about 3 days. They also seem to have weak stomachs and sore throats. Lucky for my little Tessa she only has the fever and a sore throat. Today she seems to be coming out of it. Hopeful I can go back to work tomorrow and her to daycare she misses the other kids.

With all the travel and time at home with my sick kids I have been able to finish reading 4 books in the last 3 weeks which makes me feel much better I love to read. I also gets my creative juices flowing. Since i have been very bad and not writing like I'm suppose to.

I have a questions does anyone know where I can get some nice decorative pagan/wiccan calendars? I would like to give them as gifts. I have a Celtic one which I love but it doesn't have all the holiday's list and it still seems to lean more toward Christan and Jewish holidays with mainly just the solstice and a few other holidays list for pagans.

Finally, like most of the US it's been very hot her 97degrees not including the humidity BLAH!!! oh well it is summer time.

LOL back to the kids. Talk to you all soon!

Hi everyone. Hope your days have started out really well. Mine not so bad, had a really good nights sleep for the first time in a long time, so that was good.

Lodemai I hope you little one is on the mend, it breaks my heart to see them sick. We have been having some really bad flu going around over here with several little ones passing away because of it. Not a good one at all. So all the best to her. Also what books have you been reading, one of my fav pass times.

Our weather had been odd, warm one day, cold the next. I love summer, even with the high temps.

Well to everyone, a good day, night.

Kath, Tessa is doing better I kept her home one more day just to be sure the fever broke before allowing her to play with the other kids at the daycare. I hope things get better for the little one's in your part of the world I hate when kids are ill.

The list of books i have finished well I got caught up on my Fae Series series from Laurall K Hamilton - the last book was Mistral's Kiss. I just got her new book in her Vampire Hunter series - The Harlequin - i hope to start this sometime this weekend.

Of course I had to complete the Harry Potter series I read the book in 2 days it was sooo good!

Then I'm getting caught up on Witch series from Kim Harrison I just finished The Good, the Bad, and the Undead, Every Which Way but Dead, A fistful of Charms and now I'm reading For A Few Demons More - I love this series its so much fun.

I looking forward to starting the following books Dean Koontz - Phantoms / Charlaine Harris - Dead Until Dark (A Southern Vampire Series)

But again I need to get back to finishing my second book in my series and get the first one published. So much to do so little time.

Hi everyone, ggee this time thing sometimes gets me. I log in in the morning and there is so much new stuff to look at.

Annie hope the moving is going smoothly.

Lodemai you have a lot reading happening. I love to read alot of non - fiction.

Took my daughter and two friend shopping for their enterprise business at school yesterday afternoon. Three 13 year olds in the shops. They are all comming over here tomorrow ( a pupil free day for them Friday this week) so I can help them make the stuff as I am one of the few mumsa at home and they have decided they want me to help them. So I will have five of them here . Their good kids, my girl says its mostly because I listen to them, talk to them nicely and they like my cooking. There is always a feed fixed for them when their here, I was shocked to here alot of them don't have home cooked meals. The world has become too fast and believe me I am not saying their folks are bad because they work, I am just really lucky I dont have to. But I think one of the most special times of our day is meal time, we all sit around the table eat and talk about our days. Everyone tells what they have done in their day, we talk, laugh. Its great.

Anyway, off to read the new stuff.

Sorry I haven't been around much these past few days/. I have had my head stuck in more damn books, and websites, and oh shit who the hell knows where. digging up all sorts of Elemental correspondance stuff. No clue why, but when a bug bites ya just scratch til the itch is satisfied. I think mine is.

I'll submit to LE for posting in the bos or where ever.

Good luck in the new place Annie.

Glad little one is mending Lodemai (BTW hate to fuss but the red hurts mine eyes! lol Not to mention it is a bad color for setting off seizures!)

Yup Kath not enough stay at home moms these days. I try and spend time with mine, but she would much rather go to friends.

To everyone else...............

Hi everyone, hope your days are all going well. I have been having a very busy one, getting heaps done. The girls didn't come over to do their enterprise projects as they had no jars. So I have cleaned, mowed, whipper-snipped and hosed the place looks great. Thought I would drop in for a look around before getting into some cooking. Have people coming over for tea tomorrow night and want to get a head start on the Spag sauce.

Best to you all. Good to see so many new people introducing themselves.
