We really have to start being more vocal and demanding in our relgious rights. I know of a woman in Georgia who is Pagan and actually burned out of her home, it was a trailer and she was away for a few days and came back and the place along with her furbabies had been burned to the ground. The fire inspectors found acclerant and know it was arson, but wont do anything.

Yea, it scares the living shit out me, but anit no one gonna torture and burn me at the damn stake again!

May we do need to get out heads together and maybe start a write in campaine, or something similar to that, I mean like try and get it started all over the country, try and get other Pagan groups to start writeing in and flood the damn govenment and white house with e-mails. Non-threating of course, but remember, we are voters too, and if they want our vote and support, they have to recognize us.

Wouldnt that be something, seeing on the eveinging news how the Pagans of this country flooeded the government with e-mails?

Not quite sure what to say. Still a free country. The military ones should really have their asses kicked for what they did. Separation of church and state. Idiots at the top in the military think they know it all. One of the reasons many of the men and women that get the job done are getting out. POLITICS SUCK. The congressmen can get away with murder. They do it to the constitution all the time. Nuff said before I get really mad.

We can write the letters, but it would be best to have it organized first. Pagans are part of the oldest religion on this earth. The problem with most Christians is they forget that most religion has one true core love each other and a great creator that watches over us. Yes the military was wrong but its up to everyday people to voice and make that change. There is a group of Wiccan's making a noise though. I can not watch it all the way through, it's too disturbing. Especially to think these obsessives have "power"

As far as the military is concerned, its simple. Politics is nothing but self image and the worship of self image. Why would so many people spend so much money on meaningless campaigns when the only outcome is so that a president, senators, even generals, can stand there and look important. Religious intolerance is a very real and dangerous thing and because of the social machine and the self image produce via politics it probably won't ease up any. The majority of politicians will sell their beliefs to look good in front of the majority because the majority is, obviously more people than the minority. The majority will then praise that leader, and just feed the ego. The military is politics today.

When generals have share in companies that directly support political machines and such, its kind of strange that their competitors don't get promoted, or suddenly are forced to retire through "Force Shaping" measures and other such DOD directives that are just looked at at a certain way because it will suit them. Even though I am in the military I do get sick of seeing so many people turn laws and codes into their own personal defensive system so that they can do what they want to people.

The firemen that investigated that fire had generations of society stigmas as well as pressure from the city councils and maybe even a higher "political authority". I don't agree with it but if you really wanna talk about scarey shit, take a few steps back and look at what the US has become. Its this unthinking, unfeeling machine that doesn't stop and won't stop until its gone. There is a saying that goes that empires rise and fall, but love and hate last forever. Rome fell, Byzantium fell, Greece fell, Britain fell, and still the world goes on. Hmm...I just realized I've gotten way off topic here, oh well, its the Rubber Room anyway!
