Greetings All!
It has been quite a while since I have been able to regularly attend to not only the morning "coffee chat" but PaganLiving itself. This last 12 months have been a whirlwind, starting with a reunion with an estranged sister dying of cancer. Thanks to the support I received from my friends here at home, and here at PaganLiving, I was able to get my head and heart together for the reunion, which went quite well. When Ruth passed away on Hospice care, it was a release from pain, and her start on a new journey. Little did we know that one sister would follow her in 10 days, and my final sister follow in another 6 months. Like I said, a whirlwind!
All the help and support and encouragement that was such a help with the initial reunion helped me to deal with the accumulated deaths of all 3 sisters.
Thank you to everyone who helped me deal and all just over 12 months ago!! You are terrific!
This week I am getting prepared to run an art show for our local science fiction convention, Bubonicon. Lots of stuff to do, and a hectic weekend of work ahead. But it is a labor of love. I just got to get that proverbial cup of coffee in me and get moving!
If anyone is in Albuquerque, New Mexico, over the weekend of August 24-26, come on and drop by. It would be great to meet any PaganLiving folks that live in the area!! The art show is open to the public, and I must say that for a small convention, we have been fortunate in that we have had an art show that just gets better all the time. (The convention is located at the Wyndham Airport Hotel by the Sunport.)
Now, where is that coffee pot!? Make mine a double!
Again, many heartfelt thanks for you all!
