Finally got a picture of my tree maiden. She's a bit dressed now so she is a little harder to see. will get another when she is 'in the buff' lol. (hope this works!)
Absolutely awesome even dressed ! Sorry it took me so long to look, stress kills, lol. I would love to see a winter picture of her. I really want to get into the woods this winter and see what I can find (after hunting season, I don't look much like a deer but don't want to take the chance)

MM Dearest friend and sister true Sundown. Thank you so much for this wonderful picture. I have no trouble seeing a very large if a little sorrowful face on the main trunk of the tree pictured.
I also see the faces in cork flooring.
I am very at home in the forest or even with just one solitary tree.
Very peaceful mamaold, thats why I love this place. My escape from the world, Grandfather Oak to watch over me, the Gnome Home out back and lots and lots of birds, animals, and even insects, lol.
This place and the time I have for working with wood help me retain a bit of sanity in an insane world.
Blessings
Sundown

I can completely relate. i am originally from Oregon and I my best and most peaceful memories are when I am exploring the woods. Where I grew up we had a forest behind our house and I would spend hours just sitting under the trees and touching them. I can not walk by a tree and not put my hand on it.
These pictures remind me of growing up in Eastern Washington out in the country. There was a small wood beside our house that for me was quite mystical, especially in Winter. There was a tree that was bent almost at a 90 degree angle as if it were praying and then continued on up to the sky. It was huge, and perfect. My brother and I used to climb it as one of our "sacred" places (but we didn't call them that then). Completely sheltered from the world around us it was like being cradled in the arms of the pine. I really miss this place.

Nice space you got here brother. I am enjoying reading through it all and looking at the pictures.
I had to add this dancing lady....lol. Hope you have a blissful day.
Goodmorning to you all!!! And my what beautiful trees you all have! I love trees!!!! We had to take some down a few yrs, ago b/c they were dying, even in death it is sad to see a tree go, this year we are replenishing, but i have a favorite "hugging" tree. Hope you allhave a blessed day!!! Love and Light, Lavendar-Ice
I will love the light, for it shows me the way, yet, I will endure the darkness, for it shows me the stars!
