What Was The Last Album You Listened To?

Mine was...

Around the World In A Day - Prince

(DJ)

Okay, don't laugh..."Days of Future Passed", the Moody Blues.

Surfing With the Alien, by Joe Satriani.  It was released in 1987, when the guitar god was in his prime.  It made my entire week when I found it in a second-hand store.

Hey seamonster, I love that Moody Blues CD, I have it and actually wore it out the LP back in the day...lol....it is a beautiful piece of work, Tuesday Morning amd Nights In White Satin are classics!! I would never laugh at a Moody Blues album!

Hi GreenMonk, Whatever happened to Joe Satriani? His music was incredible and brings back memories of a time gone by...don't ya love second-hand music stores!! I could spend way too much money there!

Blessings Bright and Dark,

Hi Greenmonk ... my son does a mean rendition of 'Always With Me, Always With You'. Joe Satriani is a favourite of his.

The last album I listened to was something by a group called 'Waking the Witch', but I don't know what it was called. I was visiting my sister.

Poppy x

ELO ( ELECTRIC LIGHT  ORCHESTRA)....The Light Years.

I  had the tune SHOWDOWN going around in my head for some reason, so dug out the CD,  and played the same track about 10 times!!

BOPTI1

Lady Elaine,
Joe Satriani still tours and records.  He had two CDs out last year--one a studio effort, the other arecorded live.  He is currently working on another studio album to be released sometime this year.  You can find some great current video of The Great One on YouTube.  He hasn't lost any of his energy or creativity over the decades.  If anything, he's gotten better.

Blessings.
Monk

Monk, that is SO good to hear, I will definitely be checking it out, and thank you!!! He is one of the most talented musicans out there...

BOPTI1 I haven't heard that song in years.....now you are going to make me dig that out as well.....lol....don't ya hate when that happens!!

Today I am currently listening to "Scarlet's Walk" - Tori Amos

Blessings Bright and Dark,

Jethro Tull - Broadsword and the Beast

"...never mind the words just hum along and keep on going..."

think I'll listen to that one again tonight !

Currently listening to 'The Best of the Mediaeval Baebes'. I went to watch them at Rochester Cathedral in Kent as part of their cathedral tour. Amazing!! You can listen to some of their stuff by visiting their website

I think that the last album I listened to was Josh Turner. (country artist) It has my all time favorite song on it "Will You Go With Me" I could listen to it about 20 times in a row.
