Thank you for posting this SirmikeB. I have clicked on each one and looked at all the information. I am going to print them so that I can study them more.

I am interested now on learning how we are supposed to use these symbols with reiki energy.

Hmmmm I was taught that the symbols were sacred and only taught to people. But then again you can probably find them in most Reiki books. Although I wouldn't mess with them unless you have been trained to do so.

You have to be attuned to Reiki to use the symbols. there are 3 degrees in Reiki. 1st degree, 2nd degree and Master. you are able to start using the Reiki symbols after you have been attuned to the 2nd degree.

The DaiKooMyo is the master symbol. That one you are attuned to when you do the master attunement. that one is a really powerfull symbol. I actually have it tatood on my back just below my neck, and when I go for a massage for with sombody who is alos doing Reiki that symbol on my back gets REALLY hot. almost to the point of being uncomfortable.

The poser symbol is the ChoKu Rei, that is th symbol you use to "turn on the power"

The Hon sha Ze Sho Nen is the symbol you use to cross time and space

and the SeiHeKi is for emotional healing.

Each of the symbols are very powerful on thier own and combined can really turn on the power.

using Reiki is very simple. once you are attuned to the energies it is only a matter of invoking the energy.

I may start a reiki treatment by invoking the guidance of the acended master and guids. and use the power symbol of the Choku Rei , I may visuilize is 3 times, then if it is a distance I will add the Hon sha Ze Sho Nen, and the Dai koo myo 3 times. and focus on the subject. Reiki is that simple and can be very enlightning.

REiki is a very gentle energy that is channleled in from your crown chakra through the palms of your hands.

I have known people that will not recieve Reiki treatments inless they know that the person is doing Reiki on themselvs DAILY, but it does not matter. Reiki comes from above and is triggered by intent and channeled throug the Reiki practitioner.

When you forst start getting your Reiki attumenents you will have "urges" tyo put yourt hands on people to transfer the reiki energy. you will feel the energy begin to flow, espicially in a room with a crowd. but dont worry, you can give that energy to your self without any consequences, If you have had the level 2 attunement you will be able to send the energey across time and space.

(Time and space do not exist, it is a reality that we have come up with to explain our small enviromenmt, this becomes very real to the Reiki practioner)

After about your second or third attunement your guide make make himself or herself "known" to you. they may come to you in a dream that is so real that you will think you were awake.
I have had conversations while in my dream state with my guide. Reiki helpde bring you and your guids closer. Reiki is a big step on a spiritual step.

To begin a Reiki treatment all once has to do is call for backup so to speak

call for your guids and acended masters to be present.

State your intentions. It is my intention to give Reiki for..state your intention.

use your symbols, (except for Reiki forst degree, they do not use symbols yet)

If giving a reiki treatment on a person that is there with you, you can start at the crown chakra, feel the energy move through you, when it begins to stop move to the next chakra, the third eye or brow chakra, feel the energy move through you, again as it stops move on to the next chakra, the throat chakra, continues this all the way down to the root chakra. and if you feel compeled do it again. some areas will recieve more energy than others. you, the reiki practioner will intituativly know.

If you are doing a distance treatment start the sme way, this is for only reiki pratctioners with 2nd degree or above.

call for backup, call for your guides and acended masters.

State your intentions

Use the apropiate symbols.

cup your hands in a small beach ball size, visuilize the person or object in that space. use the distance symbod and the power symbol, you can "scan" a parson visuilizing that method at a distance and you will be amazed at what you can feel. I have been able to feel sombodys pulse, or a cough from that person.
keeping your hands cupped around that imaginary ball while doing a distance treatment your hands will begin to feel like magnets, pulling and pushing... just go with it. it is the Reiki energy flowing Reiki crosses tme and space.

When doing a Reiki treatment, there will be tiny "nudges' that may want you to stay on an area longer to to skip an area or whatever, follow those nudges. You are the channel. the Reiki is an intellegent energy and it knows where to go. the more you do Reiki the more you see what a gift Reiki is.

there are MANY diffrent channeled forms of Reiki, I have been attuned to a master level to about a dozen of them and I have found, and this is my personaly opionion only, many will disagree, but Reiki is still Reiki. when you cnahhel Reiki you channel all so called forms of Reiki. it all comes from a single source that is never ending and all loving and non judgmental.

If the REii "bug" grabs you I suggest reading Essential REiki by Dianne Stein.

I will warn the male str8 menbers, you will have to read past some of her, she writes primarly for the woman, buty Reiki is for all.
