The hygienist at my Dentist's office read my mind and blurted out "No, we're not finished yet" just as I was about to ask if we were done. That made me smile, or at least I think it did with all the freezing and all. lol

After a somewhat stressful day at work, with 'staff meeting' aka organized bitch session, lol, and running daughter after work, crawling in behind hubby as he watched tv in bed, and snuzzling up against his back, and resting my head on his neck.

Smelling his cologne, and feeling his warmth. I smiled from the inside out.

Two weeks ago I went to school, hair school that is, and in a fit of emotions explained to my instructor that I may not be able to finish.

I had no money for gas to get there. I could not afford my medicine this month and it was starting to show. My catering job was not steady enough for me to make ends meet and I had borrowed money from my best friend. I have not shared this with anyone, it's embarassing.

It is amazing to me and fortifies my faith in the Universe, the Gods, the Goddesses, whatever name you call upon that blessings that come when we surrender. All I know is that I got honest and humble with this woman and asked for help. Ever since then day by day it seems my life is falling into place. Not by my will, but by the power of letting go and letting the energi of the world help me as well. Oooo deep.

The next day I started a fabulous job at a fabulous new salon that my friend recommended. I applied for county assistance and am on a regular med program. My bills can all be paid soon and my friend gets her money back and I can feel more like a responsible, grown- up type person.

What made me smile today? I showed up to school and my instructor informed me because of the quality of my hours I should be graduating early no problem. Weeeee! Full-time employment here I come!!!

I know that I've been rambling and I hope it makes some since. I am just so happy and it seemed appropriate to share. Thanks so much everyone!

I know its not today but yesterday it was my our 3rd wedding anniversary, we've had to put our celebrations on hold for a few days because my hubby has been sick, but my daughter gave us a card...each year she has me in tears with her cards and this year was no exception, inside she had written:
"
I am glad that you have both found the kind of love that many people never find.
I have never seen mum this happy and you both deserve every minute...have a great day even though it is not what you planned.
Beth xxxx"

What can I say?!?...our kids are awesome!!

Hehe

When I got home from work I looked all over for the infamous gray kitty and couldn't find him anywhere-an hour or so later I heard odd sounds coming from the bathroom so I go in adn turn on the light...I don't see anything, and he isn't in the actual window sill like usual.

So I'm about to leave when I hear the noise-well, I go up to the bathroom window and lift the blinders and happened to look up adn what do I see? LOL! My freak of a cat clinging onto the top part of the window, laying on it for crissakes LMAO!!! That part that you push up to open a window made a good enough ledge for him I guess. Laughing I never laughed so hard in my life hehe...I got him down from there and shut the bathroom door for a while Razz

Today, my biggest smile has come when my cat, Jezebel, snuggled up on my head and proceded to drown out the world with her loud purring over my ear and her drool running onto my cheek. Cat drool is the world's finest skin tinic, isn't it???

The thing that made me smile today, was picking my son up from preschool. And hearing him yell real loud "My mommy's here!!" I'm such a proud mom Very Happy

Before leaving work this morning, I hid in a maintenance closet and scared the %#*@ out of the cleaning woman. It had been ecades since I'd been attacked with a broom. Laughing

My son says the funniest things...yesterday he told his dad about a girl he wants to "ask out" (he's 11 and not really going anywhere)

Son: There is a Halloween party at school Tuesday. I need a costume.

Dad: No problem

Son: <sigh> I don't have a date either. There is this girl I want to ask but she popular. (Thinks Dad doesn't get "popular" and explains)

She is floating on top of the ocean and I am scum on the bottom of the ocean.
