What programs do you like viewing on telly...??

I know different in US of course, but here I am an avid fan of 2 soaps, Coronation Street and Eastenders!! and hooked on Prison Break, Desperate Housewives (however I must admit the story lines in the 2nd series is useless, so somewhat loosing interest) I have started watching Ugly Betty, and it is so light-hearted that you can't help but enjoy it, and isn't America Ferrera gorgeous without all the make-up of Ugly Betty of course!! and also Waterloo Road and Wild at Heart ( I love watching this one on a Sunday, as it takes me back to the wild, when I used to live in SA)

Otherwise telly usually just plays in the background while on the pc working... sometimes I just leave it on all day, so Bagheera (my black cat) has company for the day..Smile Smile

I am not much a tv watcher....I prefer reading and the puter...when I do watch is it usually the National Geographic channel, History channel, Bravo and the Independent Film CHannel. I truly enjoy the IFC, it is amazing to see acting the way it was meant to be, instead of all the glitter and glitz that Hollywood does with special effects. I do like special effects, don't get me wrong, but the story line and acting mean much more to me than a bomb blwoing something up. I am slowly getting addicted to the Food Network as well...kewl ideas and tips on that channel.

I love the Dog Whisperer, Good Morning Earth, and I will ocassionaly watch an episode of CSI ro 24 hours...my hubby watches both of those...thankfully we are not a sports family so we don't have that to worry about.

I didn’t see the tyra show, hmm would have liked to see that one..
In my house the tv is not on during the day, music is blaring. hh)
But when its time to zone out, clicker in hand, I also love nip tuck.
A friend and I love to get together and watch Hex it’s on BBC America over here.

I only caught a few min of the Dresden files last night, not sure about it yet, The ghost hunters is one of my family’s sit down together ones. And those most haunted shows on the travel channel.
We have animal planet on allot and the History & the Discovery channel.

I like Ghost Whisperer, Monk, and Cold Case Files, but my favorite show is The Office. I have known people who are a little like some of those characters, not as extreme of course, and it just cracks me up.

I love The History Channel and watch a lot of that if and when the TV is on. We watch CSI or Law and Order around dinner time. I've never been one to get hooked on shows but.....

Deadwood and Rome on HBO I try never to miss.

Unfortunately, Deadwood only did 3 short seasons. Sad

Brigga,

I love Rome and Deadwood. Since I've moved, I don't have cable, so my father records Rome for me. I also enjoyed Carnival and was very disappointed when they stopped making them. I'm a fan of Jim Butcher's Dresden novels, and the SciFi channel has now started a series featuring them. I can't comment on them until I get the video.

As for CSI, I am not an addict like many because I've taken a few basic forensics classes. The novelty wore off within the first three hours. However, I did find the first few seasons much more entertaining than the later ones.

Hi Ya'll.

I forgot to mention "Rome." !! How stupid of me...yes I love that show!! We have the first season recorded onto disc...and have the first three episodes recorded as well....Attia is awesome!!

Not much into Deadwood......I Watched it off and on, but with "fuck" as every other word, it just turned me off. I just didn't feel that it needed to be said that much in the dialogue.....but the characters were very rich, all the same.

I Will have to begin watching the Dresden files....I had heard about them, and with all the comments here, it is something I probably would really enjoy.

Days of our Lives...that hysterical..I was a big "Bo" fan in the 80's...I thought he was absolutely delicious...I will have to tune back in and catch up to see if he is still on and adorable.

Battlestar Galactica...hmmmm...did watch off and on...maybe I should tune back in...

It seems I should watch more tv and stay away from this puter....we have a HUGE TV ...64" and surround sound.... but the men in the house seem to be addicted to it more than I....

LE, Yes, the language in "Deadwood" was quite hard for me to get around but once I did, I loved the characters and the story. That show sure did desenstize me to the "c" though. Good lordy!

Attia (from Rome) is a piece of work isn't she? She reminds me of Scarlet O'Hara and Betty Boop all rolled into one. Last seasn, she really cracked me up when she sent Syvilla a naked slave with pretty ribbons all wrapped around his penis as a gift. LOL

I work nights so the only time I can watch TV is during the morning, so I usually watch Rachael Ray.

When I have breakfast with my ex I love the history channel. (I live in an area that isn't wired with cable)
