So, Aloramyst, what posts are you missing? I was able to find and restore some missing stuff, so there is a small hope. I would need to know where the missing posts were, and if you know the approximate time/date you posted them.

The problems you are describing. Did they happen right away, or over time, or specifically since we changed to this hosting company?

Well, sadly there is no easy solution. I think the best option at this point is to erase some of the forums database, and try the restore again. After restoring some of the lost info already, it looks to be that my backup of the db was fine, but something happened in the restore process. In doing this, we would lose ALL posts that have happened since the move.

Let me know if that's what you guys think we should do. I don't read most of the forums here, so I have no clue how much has been posted since the move over, or how important those posts are.

I'm still under the felling we need to try the restore again. Has anyone posted anything in the past few days that just can't be lost, and can't be re-posted? A question for everyone that posts......

I guess I'll leave it be, although I was hoping for more than two ppl responding to this.....

I moved it to a regular posting this morning after we had spoken about it. Sorry Battery came across the way he did. He isn't use to dealing with us folks here. Or posting in general, really.

You all may already know this, but I've been in the spellbook lately and have noticed that quite a few of those are missing. One area in particular is "Objects". Also I've noticed it in other areas in the spellbook.

You can click on a heading to see a spell, and the spell is either missing altogether or it is cut off after a sentence or two. Not all are missing just some. It's really strange. Some of the most interesting ones (to me at least) were missing, so it's frustrating.

Just thought I'd throw in my observations. I hope you don't mind.

Is there a way to fix this?

We are aware of that and a few of the BOS articles as well...we are restoring them as quickly as we can....give us until the weekend and all should be good as new...thank you all for bringing up the glitches that we have right now...I do apologize for all the inconvenience...it is growing pains....lol...at least we have all of you to assist us in making things right again!

If you are missing something please post what it is here in this htread so I can go back and correct it. We have the whole site on disk and on the computers as well as backed up...it's just a matter of discovering what pieces are not showing up.....
