So I finally found my way here after stumbling around a bit first. My name is Nadia and I've just recently moved to Hanover, PA. It's been a sink or swim experience that's for sure!

Thanks all who have assisted me so far on the messageboards. I really look forward to sharing knowledge with you all and transforming it into true wisdom. Absorbing new knowledge is my favorite hobby - it's the wisdom part that is really tough. I get the feeling I'll have a lot of help here with that!

I am delighted you decided to introduce yourself and stay a spell...

I moved to Louisiana from Denver, almost 2 years ago. It was a culture shock to say the least, so I can sympathize with the delimma you have in trying to "fit in." I gave up after about the first week here. I have decided that if they can't accept me for me...well, let's just say they have too.

There are many wise-women and men here...you will always have 12 more answers than you ask for, and you will never lack for mirth and merriment....come with an open heart and mind, and you will be amazed at all the different paths and energies you will encounter.

Hanover and Denver in one thread!

Marle, I'm about 15 minutes from you just over the Maryland border. There are some wonderful support groups for Pagans in this area. www.witchvox.com has a pretty comprehensive listing. If adjusting to PA is hard, be glad you are not getting hit with the MD gas & electric hikes and housing costs! A bunch of us are looking to Hanover as a place of possible escape! (wry grin)

Seriously, I understand how tough adjusting to a whole new environment can be. We're looking at it ourselves - we are caretakers of a stunning farm, have been for years, but the owners are taking posession in July and we have to move. We knew it was coming, but it does not make the leaving any easier.

Lady Elaine! Denver? I wonder if that may be where we met! I lived there for 6 years. Moved back east in 2001, after 9/11. My grown kids wanted me closer to "home". I worked in Aurora, lived near Castle Rock, and was also was on cast at the CO Renaissance Festival for years, as one of the "royals". Mayhaps we have crossed paths.
