I thought this might be a good place for the students of the Basic 101 classes to post and discuss our assignments. For those of us that might need a little help when we can't make it to chat.

Thank you larc for starting this thread. Don't worry sylverc. You didn't miss anything. We would have loved for you to have been there, but we didnt' do any real class discussion. I think maybe some were still having trouble getting into chat again last night.

Hopefully Wednesday we will all be able to get together in chat again. But, if not this is a wonderful place to share.

Blessings to you all,

LJ

I am so sorry for missing last night...I'm WAY behind on my work and I don't know if I'll ever be able to catch up at this rate...I was doing good at first, but now I have state exams coming up next week in geometry and biology and my teachers are all trying to cram before the big day...plus I'm going to have to carry home the practice baby for parenting class the week after that...and, to top it all off, I'm sick as a dog...ever since it went from warm weather to freezing, I've been hacking and coughing and doing basically nothing but working and sleeping...I don't know if I'll be able to see this class through...I love it, but I don't know if I am up to the job at this point in the school year...Sad...sorry for the ramble...

I'm up for most any night altho I have to admit, I do have an easier time with the week night chats simply because I work during the week and can't take off and go anywhere. <:

I got my got my first Ann Moura book today. It wasn't the Green Witchcraft III. (which I ordered but it hasn't gotten here yet) It's the Grimoire For The Green Witch. (I got the BOS so I didn't have to pay shipping...Amazon.com doesn't charge shipping if you buy $25 worth) Anyway...OH MY GOODNESS!! Ladies, if you need a book to understand all the question & Terms Epona has put in our lessons, This one is perfect!! I can't wait to get the Green Witchcraft III book!!! She is so-o-o great at explaining!! And will probably fill in all the inbetween questions! (Epona, now I know how to answer "stones") <:

Silver Ravenwolfs books were my first introduction and adding Ann Moura really rounded out my knowledge base!!

Chat with you all on Wed.

Blessings all!

Epona,
Any day is good for me except Tuesdays and Thursdays. I usually work later those nights. Just let me know.

And now I'm going to have to dig through all my books and see if I have any Ann Moura books. I think I do but I can't remember. If not, then I'm going to have to find some.

Oh, for those that are interested...I posted a personality/temperament test/results that some of my co-workers had set up for us to do at work. It definately sheds some light on the type of person I am.

Oh, not that I'm wanting more homework right now since I'm still working on the other but I thought the new batch of homework was supposed to be "handed" out todayish.

Brightest Blessings to All

MM All,

Just wondering if anyone knows why I have a line under my signature. I notice sylverc also has one under hers, but not anyone else that I've noticed.

I went in to photobucket and copied the code again, and then came in here and deleted my existing signature, and re-pasted the code. But, it's still doing the same thing.

It's not a big deal. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it's something I'm doing wrong, and if so how I can fix it.

Thanks very much,

Blessings,

LJ

Lady Jade,

Could it be that those without lines are the ones that have more to their signature then those with the line????

Truthfully, I have no idea. I just noticed that the ones that don't have lines are the ones with more to their signatures.

OOPs gonna leave my booboo to give a giggle, lol just saw the line under your book! No clue on that one!

MM everyone!!
Sorry so late wth a reply but between not being able to enter 'chat' on sunday, the storm, the horrific college shooting and the end of tax season, Our family has been very busy.
Thank you Larc this is a wonderful idea.
I'm having trouble with copy&paste into my journal, and have been working long hand on it. ( But hey, if you could just see my home journal!SWEET!!) Wednesday chat is fine with me. Until then I'm gonna pray for humankind to 'wake up'.

Blessings All, Misty

What a duffus!!! I was waiting in the chat room and realized it's only Tues! Embarassed

Sylverk, I think the Grimoire is great because it's basically just like what Epona is trying to get us to put together so besides all the info to learn by, it's also setting a good example. And it's cut and dried (I like structure when I'm learning or I get sidetracked).

I got the Green Witchcraft III..the Manual, today, and it's a class study book. It has the information part (study w/sketches which is really cool) , the test part at the end of each class/chapter (Q and also A...which helps if you can't figure out the answer to Q) and then some examples/explinations. It references her 1'st 2 books so if you have them...you may not want this one.

Blessings...see/talk to ya tomorrow night
