Juat what does it mean to be Indigo? I've heard this before but I don't know what it means.

Thank you. The links helped alot.

Some of the things said sound so much like my son stephen. Though not all of it, but many things listed is him right on the money. I'm not saying he is an indigo child, but I wonder. I had to pull him out of school, an home school him for some of the same reasons listed. Even when he was a baby, I had a hard time understand just how to handle him.

Any ways thank you!!

My Son, Joshua is an Indigo. He is simply amazing. And is so trying at times. N ow that he is 18, and older things are easier for him, but when he was young he adpated to every situation more readily than most. They tried to tell me he had ADD...he didn't. He still doesn't.

He is a very bright, intelligent and caring young man....and I am very glad I didn't drug him up to fit society's role they had set for him.

I thought the Indigo section would be a wonderful place to discover and enjoy these marvelous beings that are among us. They will be very necessary for the shifts that are taking place now among us.

It is in our best interest to read and try to understand them so that we can assist and gain from them as well.

I raised two Indigo children. They are something else. I know an Indigo when I teach them, and give them more assignments. It can be fun, but it can also be exasperating. Indeshadows, enjoy your son.

It is so true Serenity. My son is always learning, searching, reading....exploring...he never stops.

He never takes one persons or author's word for anything, he reaches for the stars.

Indeshadows, you are blessed to have a son like yours....the links above can help you to guide and understand your son and his path here.

A list of Indigo adults is like a "best of" the metaphysical community. They are here to help the children....and they have had the hardest job of all.

Thank you again Lady E. I do enjoy my son, and my other kids. Trying to understand him and his needs has not been easy. Coming to understand that he isn't like my other 2 kids and adjust to his needs along with theirs has been trying at times and enjoyible to.

He and I are always trying to match wits, an a game of finding the facts is one of the thing we do, not only as a way of learning to to challenge each other.

Thank you for all the info, is had given me alot to think on.

Blessings,

this is so freaky. I just felt drawn to this topic and i had never heard of it before. It is me to a T. Everything about me is different. My psychology teacher was amazed at how rightbrained i am. All the descriptions was like someone writing down exactly how I feel. I was born in 1987, and my mom always told me i was different. i can't believe that there's more people like me! lol. Thankx so much Lady E!!

If I wasn't 35, I'd say that I was likely indigo! Of course, when I was little it was called something else - "trouble maker". oh well. Smile It describes my son to a tee, too.

Same here, I got into trouble when I was in school for not paying attention to alot of my classes that had to do with math, english, or social studies. The only classes that were the highlights of my years in school had to do with art, music, and creative writing. Anything else I had to learn was hard and half the times I either failed them or passed with low C's. And indeed I have an easier time talking with adults and the opposite sex. My fiance's aunt comes over every once in a while and I can carry on a full conversation with her better than I can with someone my own age. I am glad that this topic was brought to my attention because this feels like another key in learning more about myself.

I have heard about Indigo children about 4 or 5 years ago. I have read what I can find online. I haven't bought a book yet. I am just wondering if the child has to show all of the charactoristic signs they say, to be indigo?

I have 2 as well. Son and daughter.

My oldest, while I wouldn't consider her indigo, and not a 'trouble maker' seems o have a very healing heart, an soul.

odd I find this post about now, well not odd, perse, in my world.

The whole 'Indigo' thing has came into my word now four times in the past two days.

Seems I have some pondering of a lesson to so now, lol.

I am an Indigo and was as a child. My little sister was also. She saw and spoke to Angels. My daughter is also Indigo. I believe that Indigo's may run in families. It is just my opinion, I don't know if it has been proven or not.

Greetings,

Well, I have just browsed and read the sites for Indigo Adults / Children, and I am more confused than ever.

Except for the acting out like a spoiled brat, I have many of the same traits, and experiences that were listed; even though I am 45.

I agree that todays "modern quackery" disguised as medicine is making drug crazed people, and using these medicines as an "band-aide", for something they do not know what they are dealing with, yet, still, it seems others are swinging the pendulum the other way and creating some thing that is not.

My thoughts are, if a higher spiritual being is "acting like a spoiled brat, and treating others wrong, at the same time fighting for what is right, it doesn't sound like any kind of higher spiritual way of being that I would want my own child to attain to.

Confused If I am missing something that I just can't see, please, I hope
others will, instead of attacking me, for having an opinion, and
asking questions, help me to try to understand.

Shining Wolf
