I know most of you are quite used to my goins on about the Angels that walk along with me on my path, but this post is not dedicated to them, but their alter presences, Shadows, aka Shadow Beings.

A few years back I had my first encounter with a Shadow Being. Zahn's, he could communicate very well, he could also scare the ever lovin' shit outta me! Tall and slender, dark, yet not ominous. He is what is known as a gatekeeper. It is his 'job/purpose' to ensure that all who enter thru the gates are equipped to do so, and live to return. If not, you shall not pass.

May I ask your definition of 'Shadow Being'?  I have met gatekeepers before and was wondering of your def.....thanks...

Ok, sorry to have not finished what I started, but the mundane got in the way.

for ages I have not felt right, I haven't been able to put my finger on it, and today, I was inthis seperated state of Be-ing for most of the day. I could sense that there was something attached to me, literally. It ws like being encased in a shadow, actually was kinda. Once I realized what was going on, and it realized I was finally aware, it moved off, not away, just off me.

I know first instinct is to go, get rid of it, mine is, but my main instinct is to find out the why of it. Why did it attach itself to me, why is it still lingering, besides waiting,  hoping, my guard will once again not be aware of it.

So I ask the question, which in itself is dangerous, cause the rules states, ask no question for which you do not want an answer for, cause once the question is asked, an answer will be given, ready or not for it.

Why are you here? What do you want? What is the next lesson going to be?

It's not malevolent, in a real bad way anyways. Not a good thing either.

Hmmm.....this kind of thing has happened to you before (although you say this time it is not a trickster)...are you sure it is a gatekeeper?  And...which 'gate' does it guard?   I am thinking too,  what in you is attracting these things to yourself?   You are such a sweetie Novia, as you know sister, I love you very much.  

I have some more things to say, but unfortunately the mundane intrudes!  darn it!

Would like to explore this in more depth with you...have to leave now to wander for a few days...

No this one is not a gatekeeper, my other friend wa. sorry to confuse.

Why are these things attracted to me, becasue Luv, once ya  walk both sides, ya have a tendancy to have these sorts of things in your life.

Sure I'm a sweetie, and luv ya too, but I was not always the loverly light person you now know. I walked many years on the darker side of things, and liked it, alot. I did alot of traveling, astral, and did not always take the precaustions that should have been taken, and i brought alot of shaws back into my world that way.

Alot of it to is that alot of doors are being opened, by people who do not know what they are doing, and due to the current developments of the universe right now.

I'm comfortable to both sides, put into simple terms.

Sorry I haven't responded before now.  Life gets in the way.  

I understand about walking on both sides of the path.  While I have always chosen to walk in the light of truth and love, I have encountered the darker aspects as well.  I don't like them.  But, in all honesty, we are all made up of both so I think one of my challenges is to love the not so lovable.  

I would like to talk about the gatekeepers.  I met one in human form a few summers ago.  It was wierd to say the least.  He kept looking at me and my energy was strongly attracted to his, although not in a sexual way, in an energetic way.  We got to know each other and one sunny afternoon the conversation went to gatekeepers.  I had asked a question regarding them because of an experience that I had.  He then told me that he was a gatekeeper of a certain realm.  Interesting because I have always thought that gatekeepers were strictly on the spiritual level.  I would love to hear what you know about these beings....

Things I know (which isn't all that much on these beings)  is that they guard the entrance to different realms, that they (like you said above) make sure you are ready for it and that you will get back ok, that they are like a bridge.  That's it.   Do you understand more??

Haven't talked to you in a while and am hoping that all is well in your world.

Im just curious personally.
Do you have a constant ominous feeling with the shadow (for lack of a better word) lurking around?

To be honest,
Whenever I have meditated and come across anything from the realm of shadows,
I get an ominous and uneasy feeling myself.
Darkness is still around in every aspect,
as  I feel it all over.

Or from what I am gathering from this thread

No Fate, not all shadow beings are 'bad' or even 'ominous'. sure becaue they are shadow might leave some to feel they are bad, but if you give yourself a moment to move past the fact that they aree shadow instead of something lighter, you will find that that ominous feeling subsides.

Now I'm not going to say that all shadow Be-ings are not ominous, because there are plenty out there that are. I have dealt with a many of them, and don't care to again any time soon.

However the shadow that I was dealing with before was nothing more than a gatekeeper of sorts, they make sure that any Be-ing passing their post is well ready to do so. They will not let anyone enter into their realms that is not prepared to do so. It is either their job to finish that Be-ings readiness, or send them tail between their legs back to whence they came.

This last little fellow however, well, I'm not sure what he was all about. Curiosity? Maybe. Usually enough distance is maintained to not cause a disruption in energy flows, but this last little guy, well he musta been quite young and needing to have a little extra go juice, lol. Then again I could just be far far far too comfortable with shadows anymore to not know when to be worried about a little draining, as long as I have sense enoughy to come round to my sense and send them packing eventually.

You see, just as we want to know about things we don't know about, they have the same sense of curiousness about Be-ings of light as much as we have about Be-ings of shadow.

Then you have those of us who, well we are a bit muddled, because while for the most part we are light Be-ings, we have spent our fair share of time walking amoungst the shadows as well.  

As far as gatekeepers on the physical level, if they need, sure they can, just as we physicals can enter into the spirit levels. Turnabout is fairplay ya know.  

You know, it's my phylosophy that if Be-ings of light and Be-ings of shadow spent a little more time getting to know each other, then we wouldn't have all these misconceptions. (Same can be said of any 'race' of Be-ing.) In the end however, alas, there is a batle ensueing between light and darkness.   Even though in reality you must have one to appreciate the other fully, and to maintain the balance that is needed for the survival of both.

I wish I could stay in the shadow for awhile.
Just to learn.
The light is easier to traverse into.
But to balance both is a serene yin and yang.
I'll get to that point one day.

While I enjoy doing my own readings..
People here in the barracks have been paying me visits for readings..
Which I normally don't do,
but I need to keep the morale high here, because it's utterly depressing here.

Fate, while I realize you have this inner fasination with the shadows and the darker side, I remember from past visits, again I will remind you Dear Little One, it is not for those who have any inner issues which might lead one astray in there.

There is strong truth in the old addage, curiosity killed the cat! LOL.

If you get any type of uneasy feeling in anything you do, it is you higher Self telling you not to go there. So don't.

One thing I have long since learned is don't argue with, or ignore, that little voice/feeling, cause it's hollering at you for a damn good reason!

Scary thought, a fledging shadow traveler with a gun, and learning battle techniques!  

I think it is good that your fellow military come to you for readings, it says alot for not only you, but mankind in general. You are doing a great service, to the service.

What in particular is it you would like to learn from the shadows? If I might ask.

After reading the postings of "Novia's Walking with the Angels", I have a question for you.  Should I, or those who know me, be worried that I am equally comfortable talking with those of light and shadow?  I am a child of light but I know both sides.

I want to learn why they are here in my life.

Lately with my visions have been shrouded in darkness.
When I meditate it usually brings me relaxation and brings light into my soul.
ANd like i've said, ever since two weeks ago it seems the shadow is coming closer,
and I want to approach it head on.

I'm not, should they be COpagan?

Fate, may I ask, do you have a shipout date as of yet?
