First off, hello again all,
I apologize for being brief in my visit to the castle,
I'm just a man whose does much work.
As of late i've been getting ready for my tour over in Afghanistan.
(Aside from the grim fact of war, I will be taking pictures for anyone who wants to see, i'll post details later about that)
Anyway, i've been trouble to the task of writing a will.
Now this will is through my lawyer, not the military, so I can be as brilliant as I please.
My first problem is finding one to actually do my funeral rites.
I'd prefer not to have a catholic priest,
but rather a high priestess, or at least a follower of our understandings in life.
More so, one who has much knowledge of the Celts.
I already have a gent who can play the pipes at my ceremony, with a lovely choice of songs.
I wanted the person doing my rites to say a few prayers.
Personally I enjoy picking them out first off.
Shillings on each eye as well, I need to pay the keeper.
Other than that, i'd enjoy it to be just like a Wake, three days of open casket.
The third day, my military friends can take my casket to its final place.
It'll look nice. I figure i might as well make it look that way =]
MY question here was if there were any prayers anyone could offer?
I have one so far:
May you ignore my wrong doing,
and may you set me as one honored with the spirits;
may you protect my soul in the Summer Land
may it navigate in the Field of Reeds.
As I shall Pass on in Joy.
I know there are prayers already out there,
but none seem appealing to me at this point.
But I am curious to see...

"The Spirits have all but fled judgement
I rot, alone, insane,
Where the forest whispers puce laments for me
From amidst the pine and wreathed wolfsbane
Beyond these walls, wherein condemned
To the gloom of an austere tomb
I pace with feral madness sent
Through the pale beams of a guiltless moon
Who, bereft of necrologies, thus
Commands creation over the earth
Whilst I resign my lips to death
A slow cold kiss that chides rebirth
Though one last wish is bequathed by fate
My beauty shalt wilt, unseen
Save for twin black eyes that shalt come to take
My soul to peace or Hell for company"
"The Fall of the House of Bathory"
